I'm back and blogging still seems weird to me.

First of all, congrats to Sarah, Samuel, Jayden and Dylan!
Yay! Finally you guys are baptised!

Okay, I'm confessing and vigualising that I'll be able to go for the next round which is in November!

Before baptism service, it was hectic! Because we did a few last minutes stuff. Hahaha

Hahahaha.

Service was simply awesome because Pastor Phil came!
Fellowship was entertaining!

Love Saturdays because I can step into the house of God!

I'm so excited as I'm in a new zone! Like finally kinda thing. Not saying I don't love Pastor Zhuang. I love him a lot a lot that's why I've been in his zone for the past 5 years. HAHAH.
But like what Rae say, it's when we multiply then new people can rise up! I'm so excited to see new faces in the leadership positions! Whoosh!

Okay to conclude, fb, blogging and msn is really really a waste of time if you focus tooooo much on it.

What has happened in the past 2 weeks?

Actually lots of interesting things happened but I can't really remember it already. HA.

1. 21 Aug was Manda.t's birthday, Manda.c, Jovy, Julianne and myself we went down to Pasir Ris, wanting to surprise her at her place, only to realise she wasn't at home.

Manda.c's dad drove us to Ronald's place. We couldn't find his place. We only know the directions there, we have no idea what was his address. Got lost. Went past VS at least 6 times.

Crashed their sleepoverrrr. Wished we could all stayed a little longer but there's my batam trip, jo had netball, manda.c had pw the next day.

CANNNNOT wait for the next sleeeeepoverrrrrrr! :D

2. Went to Batam. It was awesome!

Aunty Ahnie: Eh, you dyed your hair?

Aunty Ahnie: So vain!
Jasmin: What so vain? I dyed it like for so long already you now the notice ah?
Aunty Ahnie: I thought your natural hair was this colour!!

3. FOM paper sucked!

But it's okay. Hahaha. It's over already, so I'll unleash all the faith I have in God that I can pass and by His grace, there'll be moderation!

Crashed NP again to borrow ICP textbook. Hahaha!

4. Met up with Rae for dinner at Subway!

And I not only survived, I had more time for God. Which was awesome! Breakthrus breakthrus!!

Lesson learnt.

Breakthrough

Just ended a conference call with my connect group.

We've come in agreement to fast for 2 weeks. Not food fast but whatever that distracts us from seeking God's face. For my case that would be my computer and television.

So no fb-ing, no blogging and no television for 2 weeks.
What is the computer for? For work only and checking of emails.

Because my connect group and myself, we are believing God for a breakthrough in our connect group and individual life.

Oh yes and a testimony to share.

Really thank God that I'm NEVER in lack even though I'm down to my last dollar in my wallet. (:

Whenever I'm so broke like left with very little money/no money, God will bless me. So God is never early but He's never late as well. He's on time. So when my cash is running low, I'll receive either my allowance or pay. It's just like He knows what I'm going through. I don't really need to ask for money you know. Thank God for that!

Prayer and fasting go hand in hand.

Nothing we have is ours

First of all, I wanna thank Sarah for coming down to my place to have dinner with me at Macs.
We did some catching up and it was awesome!
Was very very encouraged after that. And the best part was, God encouraged me via my own words and revelations. Awesome isn't it? (:

20 more min to the nation's 44th birthday.
Am really proud to be a Singaporean. Not just because it's national day tomorrow.
So many Singaporeans only feel patriotic on national day. But I feel that shouldn't be the case. Look at what we have.

When you're hungry, you just need a 5 min walk or so to go to the nearest coffee shop to have a meal. When the night falls, you just switch on the lights and you no longer have to live in darkness. When you need water, all you have to do is to go to the tap and turn it on and you have water flowing. Each and everyone of us are given a chance to study.
So many things to be thankful for.

Happy Birthday Singapore, I love you.

Today I finally know what P.S. stands for.

After using it without knowing what does it stand for, for Idk how long. Hahahaaha!

Rachel just told me something rather shocking.
I scored an A for my Introduction to Media Writing test. The one I was supposed to take but I was on MC.

And the best part was I didn't even know how to write a web teaser. Haha.

Something from Sun:

I was sitting in the dining room with the computer in front of me... The 20th Anniversary service of CHC was playing... All I could feel was tears in my eyes... This is where I grew up... Where I learned that I need to step out of the four walls of the church building to make a difference in this world... The church that has supported and loved me through so many difficult moments in my life... The church that I miss every single week...

I tried so hard not to cry in front of the rest but only God knows how much I wish I could be home sitting among the rest of the congregation...

The segment where the pioneers gave their speech was so heart warming... Every bit of it spells honesty, gratitude and unity...

And look at Joey (Poh's daughter)! She is awesome!!! She is that future song leader that's going to bring down the anointing!

When I was done watching, all I could whisper in my heart was, "God, I thank you for allowing me to be part of this life-changing, needs-meeting, bigger-than-life family..."


That was why I said I was very thankful that I was able to get into SIS and witness our 20th anniversary.
Once again, thank you Pastor Kong & Sun.


I went to the polyclinic for the FIRST TIME.
And so many things happened. Haha.
Don't think I'll wanna blog about it. But it's definitely a "great" experience at the polyclinic. I'll never forget it.
The medicine the doctor prescribed for me was wow! 40 pills to last me for a week. And 40 pills cost 70cents. And I only paid 6bucks in total for consultation+medicine. No wonder the polyclinic's always so packed with people and lots of people. Thank God that just now I went it was considered rather fast already.

Thankful.

Just got home not long ago.

Crashed Np again for dinner:D
Np food very nice! HAHAH.

Then headed down to Tampines with SL to get some donuts. We were feeling so full!
Decided to catch a movie after that and the movie ended at 11plus. Missed my last bus at Tampines. Had to take a bus to Bedok to change to another bus.

Thank you SL for accompanying me to watch Harry Potter. Love you loads!
And I found out something today. Wooo! Rather interesting.

Alright, need to do reflections now. Zzzzzz

Yesterday night I was just discussing with my sister what baptism name should I get for myself.

All the silly names came out. Hahaha.
I will be able to go for the next round of baptism. Amen.

I stayed over at Ting's place on Sat night. Because her ex member is gonna fetch her to SIS. So thank you Ashley for fetching us to SIS.
We talked till like 3plus! And have to wake up at 5 plus. So I only slept for 2 hours or so on Saturday night. Hahaha. Was soooooo tired after the two services ended. And I have to go over to Pasir Ris to give tuition.
Hahaha. I slept super super early last night and had 12 hours of sleep. shiokness!

Gonna get myself the anniversary album this weekend. So excited so excited! :D

Crap, 3 hours of tutorial. Dread it. Bleah!

Time really flies. Sem 1 is coming to an end in Idk how many weeks time.
We finished ICP already. Wow.

20 Glorious Years

20th anniversary celebration was super awesome.
The 9am service was super good! And the best part was it doesn't even feel like 2 hours. Seriously!

Okay, I really wanna thank God for what He've done. I am so honored to be able to part of City Harvest. To serve such a great, big and awesome God together with the rest of my spiritual family members.

20 years, we've come thus far. Thank you Pastor Kong, Sun and all the pioneers who have laid down their lives for this church. So that we can celebrate our 20th birthday together, as one big family.

I know I will never want to leave this church. I will not look back.
This is the place I wanna be for the rest of my life.

Thank You God for being so faithful.
