We don't need no education

The other day, Gabby asked me what I was doing on the computer. I showed her that I was setting up an account to help pay for her to go to college. "But I'm not going to college," she replied. I was a little shocked that she even had an opinion on the matter, she is only 3 after all. Since Gabby always says she wants to be a Mom when she grows up, I thought I would use that to convince her. "Oh yeah, you want to go college, so you can be a smart Mom," I answered.
"No, I don't need to go to college because I am going to be a wizard. A wizard and a Mom."

That's right

Since we live in the yard sale capital of the world, we decided to give it a shot and get rid of some of our junk. I went to wally-world early Sat. morning to get some change and put up the signs on my way back home. 4 cars beat me home and the next half hour was a flurry of the professional garage salers, and they weren't messing around. We had a steady stream of cars all day and sold almost everything. Not bad! Our pajama clad daughters set up a table to sell muffins. They turned up the cute factor and sold out after a few hours. The muffin stand then became a lemonade stand. They did really well for being first-time entrepreneurs!
The day was a success!

Fields of Gold

We took a Sunday drive to see the poppy fields everyone has been telling us about. With all the rain this year, there are wildflowers everywhere, so pretty.Robert wanted us to try taking a family picture with the timer. Hmmm, this is the best we got.

Gotta love springtime in AZ!

Lake Crosby

Carter found a pair of goggles at her Auntie and Uncle's house and kept asking to go snorkeling. Uncle Jonathan decided it would be funny to let her try and got her a bowl of water and a straw. Oh Carter.

Egg Hunt at HP

We love joining the masses at HP for the annual egg hunt. It's tradition! Nate didn't get the whole find eggs and then carry them around thing. He ditched his basket shortly after this photo.
We miss living close to Ellie! (Can you tell we rolled out of bed to make it time, my girls have a little bed head going on)
Carter was hoping the bunnies would show up, since they are her favorite animal right now. She even got to pick one up...
ha, ha. I guess she just likes them from a distance.
