More Jackson...

Great news! We were able to bring home Jackson today. He is doing much better. We are thankful for all the thoughts and prayers that went out on his behalf. Here are some pics from today as well as our first new family picture.

Jackson and the Dark Knight

Stockton was so excited when his brother came home today. He wasted no time in dressing up as Batman to show his little brother.

1st Grade!

In the flurry of all these Jackson pictures, it warrants mentioning that my little girl started first grade this week. I told her that I had a green Pinnochio book bag when I started first grade. With a sympathetic face, she asked me if all the kids laughed at me. She is getting so big and is doing great in school. She has a strong desire to learn and grow. She is so cute!

More Jackson...

Here is Stockton with his new baby brother. Stockton has finally resigned to the fact that we didn't name him batman. I'll have to get pics of Maddy with him later because she started first grade today!

Jackson Pics

Jackson is doing better. His oxygen levels are more normal now. He has really yet to cry, but I am sure he is just saving that for when we get home. Here are a few pics...

Jackson has arrived!

Jackson Edward Rhodes arrived this morning at 12:22 a.m. I do not have pictures up yet because I left the camera at the hospital with Sal. I will get those up today or tomorrow. Jackson is 8 lbs. 9 oz. and almost 21 inches long.

Unfortunately, he was born with a little too much fluid in his lungs, making it difficult to breathe. He is going to be in the NICU for the next couple of days. So far they have not found any infection, but are continuing to test The doctor says that this usually clears up within 48 hours. Thank you for all your prayers and support. Sal is doing well, just tired. We are both worried about Jackson, but are confident that everything will be fine. I will keep this posted as we get new information.

Maternity Pictures

Well...14 hours later we are still in the hospital. The baby is taking his sweet time coming into this world. In the meantime, here are a couple of Sal's maternity pictures. She still looks smokin' hot when she is pregnant. We'll post some new pics of the baby soon (hopefully).
