Fireworks

During the afternoon and evening of the Fourth, we had the Daybells over and had our own little fireworks show. Then, we traveled to Shawnee Lake and saw a great fireworks show over the lake. Maddy said that it "rocked." Stockton fell asleep on the way there and would not wake up. All in all, it was a great day.

The College Hill Parade

The kids took part in the neighborhood College Hill parade on July 4th. They decorated their bikes and scooters along with a bunch of their little friends and tried to throw out candy while staying steady on the bikes. It was a great time. Afterwards, they had races for the kids and Stockton won a medal!

Cousin's Visit

Grandma Painter and Emily, Maddy and Stockton's cousin, came out and paid us a visit this summer. The kids had a great time. They played a lot and slept a little.

Update

Well, it has been several months since we have posted anything on this blog. I know...pretty pathetic. Life has been a whirlwind. I am in Wichita during the week doing my summer internship and Sally is busy with everything else. She is now 8 months along with our baby (we still don't know the name and are accepting suggestions). Maddy and Stockton are doing great. They are busy playing t-ball and with their swimming lessons. We will try and do better with the blog updating.
