A couple videos I have been working on from this summer...
Can you see the trout? Maisy and I did a little trout spotting when we weren't throwing rocks in the creek at Sugar House Park...
Everything is going great here in Salt Lake...
Maisy and Heather are awesome as usual and we are all staying really busy! We have had a great summer and we are enjoying the nice fall like weather we have had here the last few days...
I will post more often, I promise!

Mother's Day Weekend
We had a great weekend. Lots of time with family and friends and great weather.
The house remodel is going well and is on schedule. We went up to the house to check it out on Saturday night and ended playing there for a little while. Maisy started out riding her trike but when the fly rod came out she couldn't resist.

A quick update
We enjoyed a few days of nice weather here over the weekend. We took a walk to the park with Maisy yesterday morning and followed that up with a little yard work. I went over to Devan's house to help he and Christian build a fence. Those two are some of hardest workers I have ever seen. I am really sore today. It has been too long since I have worked that hard!

so good, bet you can't have just one
After fighting a cold for a month and a half, Maisy is coming down with another one. Runny nose and coughing were the symptoms today. Hopefully she sleeps ok tonight.
We had our dinner at the Hook last night. She loves going down there. She likes to yell back to Devan from the front and when he looks up over the grill she laughs at him. She likes to get an ice cream treat before we leave and she eats it on the way home. It's a little bit messy, but fun nonetheless.
On Saturday we went to the St. Patricks Day parade with the Grandma Wendy and met the the rest of the crew down by West High. Devan drove the Fire truck in the parade and the city council members rode on it along with the all of the kids and Heather ran the bull horn. She had the crowd chanting by the time we were done! No surprise there though!
Joe and Danielle came over for dinner on Saturday night and brought a video from their adventure they had earlier that day. They went to an indoor skydiving place in Ogden. It looked like so much fun and it was great to see them with huge smiles on their faces!
I am still trying to figure out how to make the photos look better when I update the blog from my phone. Sorry if they are a little stretched out.

new potty
I ordered a new potty and some diapers from diapers.com yesterday at around 4:30. The delivery got here before 11:00 today. Free shipping. Unbelievable!
Maisy and I had lunch with Uncle Joe today and tonight Nat, Jeff, and the kids are coming over for dinner. Steak and potatoes, there may be a few chicken nuggets served as well! Just a guess!

Tuesday night = Hook night
We had dinner at the Hook and Ladder last night. Chicken Crunches and extra bread rolls all around. Follow that up with a little Superman ice cream and we are good to go! Uncle Devan "Hooked" us up! Grandpa Van showed up when we were almost done eating. He was there long enough to give me an official city council pen. I think he always keeps a few in his jacket pocket to hand out.

coo coo!
We made some ribs on Sunday. We took them over to the Turners. They seemed to be a hit. Maisy loves going over to Grandma and Grandpa T's to see their two clocks.

Wow!!!
It has been a super long time! Thanksgiving was the last post. There sure has been a lot going on, and not a ton of pictures to show for it. Sorry!
Well, we've moved! We are Utahans again. I think that is how that's spelled. We had a whirlwind of a move back to Salt Lake and we are loving it here. The logistics of the whole thing were crazy. Heather had a few things she had to finish up with the company in Washington before she could leave so she was actually pulling double duty, being an agent and a manager all at the same time. NUTS!!! She did that for an entire month... she is amazing. She loves being an agent again.
Maisy and I came down to Salt Lake two weeks before the actual move was scheduled. My Mom came in from Nevada to be with Maisy while I worked on the house we moved into. The house also happens to be my brother-in-law Bill's Dad's house. I freshened the place up a bit with a lot of help from family and friends. Joe, Devan, and Christian are pretty good with paint brushes and rollers! We painted the entire main floor of the house. We had the oak hardwoods refinished and new base molding put into the living room. Maisy's room was painted the same color scheme as her room in Washington, to make her feel more at home. New base molding also went into her room along with a chair rail. New, updated, white, six panel doors went in throughout the main floor and the closet doors have also been updated. ( not painted or installed yet, working on it though)
Needless to say there were a few long days of work that week. This doesn't even count the time that Bill's family put in cleaning and moving his Dad's things out to make room for us. This move woudn't have been possible without the help we received from our family and friends. It is sooooo nice to be back!
I will be posting some pics of the house soon. More to come!
Feeling at home... notice the duck pillow pet...
