update
so somehow we now have mio tv for awhile and i'm making use of this opportunity to catch up on some movies, dramas and now im hooked on "black and white", the tw police drama which won so many accolades and made a star out of mark zhao. and seriously im impressed. the cinematography (is that what it's called?) is quite brilliant, quite unlike typical tw dramas. small wonder its targeting the international market. plus apart from vic zhou and a few other veterans most of the cast are made up of newcomers (at least i havent seen them in any other shows before) and im pleasantly amazed that they actually act really well. the plot works pretty well too, though im not entirely sold on the fact that so many brandish firearms in full view.
so since wenting didnt blog for me, i shall have to blog about going back to ntu for a work-related seminar. turns out the seminar was quite academic and i found myself in a limbo over my identity. was i there as a student or as a working staff? i felt like i had left school too long to be a student, yet hadn't been working long enough to accurately represent my organization. sitting through the presentations, i felt they were only appealing to the student side of me, even though i was there as a staff. it was all quite confusing.
and work is pretty boring now. i don't know. maybe im feeling pressurized by the overly dynamic director.
