the one about bday... i was pondering the use of a birthday per se.

getting older isnt really occassion to celebrate. more so if you know me.

then i decided to think of it in pleasant-er terms.

birthdays are when people celebrate the birth of a person they are thankful for

so thanks to everyone who made my day so smiley by proclaiming that they are thankful for me.

orchestrated the celebration in hall. haha. almost spoilt the whole thing when i dozed off in the room and they couldnt find me :P thank goodness i woke up in time. and thanks for the shu u depsea water! she pinned it to her board and i had thought that she wanted it for herself. haha!

i realised my birthday is like 6 days away.

been so busy i hardly even noticed.

ewwww. the big two-o.

the day i hope never arrives.

i want:
chunky gold earrings. u know the kind with a hoop and then lotsa funky chunks hanging on it? yea.

new badminton shoes. haha.

black pencil eyeliner from bloom!

tees with in-ur-face slogans. like "trust me im a girl" haha. that i have.

pretty laptop cover. u know the kind that looks like a folder? saw alot of ppl holding it at NP but no idea where to get it.

oh necklaces!! chunky necklaces i can wear with anything and everything.

haha an all-in-one hair styler thing that lizhen's sis has so i can do my hair anytime i want!! which isnt often...lol.

kinda sloppily put together huh.

truth is i dont really know what i want anyway.

  the one abt post dnd... whew dnd is over.

the more eventful part was probably the photo taking.

i took more than a hundred photos!!

  the one about deadlines... school's suffocating me.

im swamped with so many things i cant even begin to think straight.

group projects, mid-term quizzes, assignments, tutorials, readings..

deadlines Deadlines DEADLINES!! ARGH!!!!

AND THEY ALL COME AT ONCE!

it's like one week im all relaxed adn schmoozing around and suddenly im hit with a deluge of work.

in case it still isnt obvious,

and the worst thing is i had actually planned for a relaxing night at home.

we got third. but tts cos we had 2 walkovers for 53.

aii whatever. im just relieved it's all over.

and zirUi's pretty nice actually. she came even though she originally couldnt make it cos we couldnt get other girls.

  the one about hating organization... jean is upset.

some of the ppl who were supposed to play badminton today sms-ed at the last minute to tell me they couldnt make it.

some are supposed to play both badminton and table tennis.

basket.

and at such short notice.

see why i hate organising things regarding people?

i know them all too well.

argh.

ok maybe i cant really blame them cos badminton was supposed to be last friday but was postponed to today.

but STILL.

and i have to go knock on foreigners' doors to ask them whether they can play.

and i was afraid he couldnt understand me so i said everything really slowly and clearly. he nodded but somehow i dont think the message got through.

OH WELL.

this really sucks.

met tok for lunch just now.

have to go to some yunnan corner for the soci bbq. at 5. and i have to leave ard 6.15pm.
