CCA Fiesta 2014!!

CCA Fiesta 2014 is coming!!
CCA Fiesta is an event where CCA/IG(s) will promote themselves and attract the Year 1s to join their big family.
This year, CCA Fiesta 2014 will be help on the 23rd & 24th April 2014 (Wednesday & Thursday)
GEnRe (Guitar Ensemble Republic) has come out with our own theme:
‘One GEnRe, One Family’
One GEnRe represents the Artistic Excellence as an IG while One Family represents building relationships & friendships as an IG. GEnRe, it is not just about striving for artistic excellence but also to emphasize on the care and loving IG GEnRe is. The care and concern among everyone in the club is not only as an IG level but also in a personal (friend) level.
If you are interested and want to know more about GEnRe, do visit us at our booth on 23rd or/and 24th April 2014.
There will be seniors there to share more about their experience in terms of performances and events they went through together as one big family.
More details will be up (e.g. booth location, timing etc.) soon once everything is confirm.

GEnRe just had its joint concert; Guitarra Impresiones with Catholic Junior College (CJC) Guitar Ensemble at Esplanade Recital Studio on 24th March 2014; 7.30pm.
It was GEnRe first ever concert held at Esplanade Recital Studio and everyone had their share of fun collaborating with both the students and conductor from CJC.
Below are some of the photos taken by our photographer, who volunteer to spend his Monday evening with us to capture these special moment for us on stage with CJC as well as the audience.

3. YJC Exchange
Awhile ago, Genre had an guitar exchange with YJC, Yishun JC!
Along with St Patrick secondary school and Catholic JC!
Thanks YJC for having us over there and sorry to cause trouble if there's any ^^
It was a fun and memorable day over there, as we know currently where we stand compared to others.
The 3 ensembles were really awesome and their performances were amazing! ^^
4. Graduating Year 3s
It's already march.
The year threes are graduating.
Though it's a good thing that they're graduating, it also means that they're not coming back as frequently as before!
We'll really miss you all!

Heyyyy yoooooo~
This blog was left vacant for months because the writers were either lazy, or lost the password of the account like me! Just a day ago, I found out I was logged into genre account on my phone app! Lucky day ^^
Lately, genre membership have been stabilised! We have more juniors this year compared to last year, and they're all working very hard for our performance in November! ^^
Genre has a performance in regional library on 24th November, 2pm! Come down and support us if you're free? First debut of the juniors is on that day! :D
Also, recently our juniors became more relaxed with us? They actually took crazy pictures with the crazy seniors o_o Pictures we took when we went home together. Apparently, we're becoming more and more bonded! ^^
This post is really one sided because its always the same group of juniors that goes home with us. Really a sad fact :( Will snap more photos of the more quiet juniors in genre and post it on blog again!
