Brayden turned 4 years old today...I'm shaking my head right now as I write this...where does the time go!!! 4 seems way older and grown-up to me than 3. On Sunday we had a birthday party. I asked him what kind of birthday party he wanted. He said orange. His favorite color, of course. Every single paper he brings home from school is colored in orange. If there is something to pick from, he will pick the orange one. If we are driving in the car, he will point out the objects that are orange. I think you get the idea. So we threw an orange birthday party.I think our guests left seeing orange spots in their vision.
I probably had too much fun planning this orange birthday party. I made party gifts for the kids that came and wrote on the outside. "Orange" you glad you came. On Brayden's I wrote, "Orange" you glad it's your birthday. Greg shook his head and said, "Orange" you getting a little carried away. Yes. Yes I am....
So today the birthday boy had a fun day. He had a little party at school (that Daddy got to attend) and was line leader. This is BIG stuff in the life of preschool schooler. This was his sign from his party that his teacher made. There was a crown to go with it, but he wouldn't wear it because "it bothered him", if you know him, you understand. He wanted to take pumpkin bread as the snack...probably because it's orange. Then we went to Burger King for lunch with Aunt Darcy, the girls and some friends. He got to play on the computer for most of the afternoon. For dinner we had a picnic on the floor with his favorite foods. Wrestled daddy. Then tonight we gave him our gifts and played with them before bed.A few things about our Bray-Bray at age 4...

It's been a long road these past 4 years, but watching him turn into such a sweet and lovable little man makes the many tears of frustration, wakeful nights, scary moments and added medical bills worth it...
So happy birthday to my handsome, kind, funny, stubborn, sensitive, smart, blessing from above boy that has captured my heart and made my life's moments a little happier, my smiles a little brighter and my love for you a little deeper every day!
