Came to realize, or actually be convicted once again, that Christ is not part of my life, but He is in fact the WHOLE of my life, and i'm a part of His great plan. It is really like how an artist can create so many beautiful valuable pieces but no matter truly, the value of the piece comes from its creator and regardless, one will never say the creator is just part of the piece, but instead, the piece comes from the lovely plan and execution by the creator. Ah hate this 3rd person kind of analogy. Very hard to express. But well, something like that.

Really, is genetically engineering Golden Rice, Tomatoes and Cassava sufficient. p.s: World population is est. 6.79b today.
Nearer to home, another article caught my attention too. Maybe because it's AC. haha. =P 17 October 2009 ST Home-Taking a stand against hunger and poverty Hunger and poverty very much goes hand-in-hand. Today is World Poverty Day, and of course, raising awareness is one big big goal. It's a cruel truth how "most of us don't see it but..and increasing number of ppl (in Singapore) need assistance, particularly as the economy continues to be rough." World leaders have promised to halve the world poverty by 2015, by i wonder how. In the micro level, it is nice to see how ppl are gathering together to collectively inspire others to do something. But then again it is quite silly that with so many channels to "do good", doing good becomes something so effortless that you don't even have to feel for the cause to make it happen. The report says, "in Singapore, 14500 ppl voiced their commitment to ending poverty.", what commitment is that? Well, regardless, 有钱出钱有力出力. it is almost impossible to get everyone working, but at least, everyone can have a part in it. While the money-givers provide food, the time-givers provide compassion and care. Not too bad for now. =)
Today's papers seem to be very much focused on the poverty conditions. Collective power. When you read them all at once, hopefully it gets you thinking. =)
checked out a few blogs today and realized how scarily pessimism has crept into youths' lives. being unhappy and not hopeful about the future is like the 'IN' thing. two words: "disturbing" and "worrying".
