after working for 3 days at the office at construction site, i feel tired. more tiring that going to sch altho sch hours are longer. plus i was late for 2 days, which got me quite screwed, making me really jing zhang every morning. God bless me with punctuality.
but on a lighter note, i found some interesting things at my workplace today.
yep it sure looks bored.

btw, the two posters are from ministry of manpower. oh well i get what they mean but anyway. haha
Thought I'd share this with you guys :) Not a very famous song. But a pretty famous singer. Didn't know he was a Christian singer. But I like this song. Just listen to the music, there's no mv or anything.
Here's the lyrics: (I see it as God talking to me or something like that.)
Daniel Bedingfield - Draw You
I see the spirit moving In the very fabric of the universe I tell you so You see the power in your hand To ease the suffering of a dying child You tell me so I reach for stars But you are keeping Both feet firmly planted On the ground Or so I've found I wrestle with eternal questions You wrestle with the here and now Cause you're here now It breaks my heart That your alluring eye Are blind to what I see It's tragic that the quests That move our live Are just so different
But I would draw you into my heart If your eyes weren't closed to me And I would draw you into the world Behind the one you see If I could speak my mind Then I would take you to secret places Only ours to find Your spirit longs to breathe If only you'd believe
I look for miracles And search for the miraculous Along my way You seem to say The opposite is true for you You just seem satisfied With what you find each day Your life's OK Your spirit's lost and wandering in the sand I swear I hear your voice Crying save me from the desert Take my hand Lead me to water
But I would draw you into my heart If your eyes weren't closed to me And I would draw you into the world Behind the one you see If I could speak my mind Then I would take you to secret places Only ours to find Your spirit longs to breathe If only you'd believe
k this post is copied from my blog since its the same thing anyway.
lets start the new year here at expelliarmus with photosfromdecwhichhavenotbeenputupduetoprocrastination!
isnt that wonderful.... somethings nv change. im not too big on this whole countdown new years thing, much less resolutions.. a year is the same year as any other year. i normally reflect on my life after a really bad accident instead of during the year end. and as for resolutions....
mmmm....besides wanting to do my quiet time every single day before COFFEE, i guess the rest are too vulgar to mention here. hhaaaa.
countdown last night was fantastically tiringdepressingpanickingtiringagainirritatinghappyexcitingexhilarating!!
yes all in one breath.
God was good as usual. right up to the last rehearsal just a couple of hours before, we STILL hadnt had a single run thru with perfectly no mistakes.
but people still said they thought we played the CD. amen man! God's grace along with our expertise in last minute panicness haha.
countdown photos coming up probably in a couple of months time (ie when whoever took it decides to send them) ====================
CELL CHRISTMAS DINNER 07
i think they will agree with me when i say this is really one of the craziest christmas parties ive had.
organized by me, games by my sister and there you have it. insanity.
clockwise from top left: doorgifts (wrapped by me ya'll!), lefty sleeping under the christmas tree awww... joanne and becky, jelly and her crazy hairband
ok here everyones just checking out their new hairbands made by the mak sisters, its completely whacky and brilliant!
inside the door gift i put a christmas bauble inside not for them to take home, but to help us put on the christmas tree (lazy to finish it up la)
can someone say "too much food???" SORRY LA. next time ill estimate better. cant trust my instincts u know.
just check out lefty's "gimme food ill do anything" pathetic look
ugh the monstrosities...
first game played...JAKENPON! (scissorspaperstone in japanese) the winner gets to whack the loser, and the loser gets the defend herself with a hat. simple?
not when our cell plays it....
this is what you get when girls (or camy) play any game that allows them to inflict bodily harm on their opponent
o...all those years of suppressed anger and bitterness!!
this is hilarious. its a game we call THE LIVING PINATA those are targets tied all over poor lefty to be whacked by a very very soft balloon hammer it may look like blatant dog abuse here, but before you attempt to call SPCA, pls note that its not the strings that are holding her down, but rather she is just SLEEPING
heres how u play the living pinata who needs a paper pinata stuffed with sweets when u can have one that runs away?
oh man this is too funny, HAHAHA.... i love my dog. really i do.
up next game! running on those foot reflextology stones in the playground. this has got to be the most sadistic game EVER!
the next day was CDP rehearsal and i winced in pain everytime i pressed the pedal
finally... a less dangerous and painful game we're all familiar with...
celebrating eve, wina and jelly's bday!

CAMERON HIGHLANDS
one word: NUA. cos thats all we did.
i mean how exciting can vegetable farms, tea plantations and picking strawberries get? but well who could say no to total slacking? certainly not me.
ok one highlight for me was the SWEET POTATOES absolutely fantastic! as you can see from the photo, i had a problem with choosing between the sweet potato ball, and the steamed sweet potato itself.
see what did i tell ya? TOTAL SLACKING ya'lll!!!!!!
camy's ideal heaven...or not. but i gotta say, the veg here is taste very different. its greener, crispier, fresher, so good...u can even eat it on its own (without cooking..really) my mom went mad im guessing, considering we came home with a car stuffed full of greens that it wouldnt look out of place at a wholesale market.
finally got to wear my yonsei sweater. any weather is good weather so long as its not hot weather haha.
tea plantation. vast green hedges and skies. real exciting.
so yea, we had to make frolicking in the tea plantation exciting dont we?
this has got to be the best part of all.... my dream hobby! eating scones and drinking tea/coffee in a nice cold weather! ive always wanted to do that and say "would you like a spot of tea?"
someday ill like to do that in England itself. in a nice cottage....bake bread...mmmm
maybe thats my new years resolution. after all...its the Year of Sabbath guys.
