LID!!!

We are packing up to go home from Hilton Head and just found out that we are LID 3-4-09!  I am so excited.  What a great way to end a vacation. 

Easy living in the low country

We are so enjoying our stay here in Hilton Head.  We love the off season.  It is so quiet and peaceful.  I can't believe we have already been here 10 days.  Olivia and Ave Kate were sick the first week.  They both ran high fever and just slept off and on for days.  Needless to say, we have not gotten out  and about much.  I have done some shopping and worked out every day.  I also have taken daily beach walks.  It is like therapy for  me.  The girls are better now so we have had some short outings.  

the starfish

I was walking on the beach the morning after we arrived here in Hilton Head.  I was thinking about Lily and how we have not received an update on her recently.  I was feeling like she was so distant from us event  though she is our daughter.   I was saying a prayer that she would be safe and loved until we get her.  As I finished that prayer I looked down and found this starfish.  I have never found a starfish before on the beach.  This starfish has a malformed leg.  It right away reminded me of Lily and her little malformed ear.  To me the starfish is perfect-just like she is.  I know in my heart that God spoke to me that morning and gave me that gift of a starfish.  It is my Lily starfish.
