Museum for Youth

We went to the Arizona Museum for Youth. The kids loved it. My sister Emily came along with her two youngest kids.

Natalie in the kitchen....as always.

Jacob built a tower out of big foam blocks, and then climbed in the middle of it.

Cody was trying to add more blocks to the top. He wasn't quite tall enough though.

The girls liked to put the pretty dresses on. All of the kids had costumes on at one point. The boys didn't leave theirs on for very long though. The girls pretty much left theirs on the whole time we were there.

Grandma's House

We had a lot of fun at grandmas house. The kids enjoyed playing outside, coloring, being kids. Here are a few pictures from our stay. My mom let the kids color on the windows with Window Crayons. They had a blast with that! We have some at our house that I use to decorate my kitchen window for all of the holidays, but I don't let the kids use them. ;)

They like to pretend they are riding my mom's quad. Every time I went to search for the kids, I usually found them out in the garage, playing on it. They would take turns being the driver. At least they were sharing right?

This is how I found Natalie one day. I told her she didn't have to take a nap, but she had to rest. I turned off the light, and walked away. I came back to check on her, and I found her fast asleep, with the light on, with a ton of toys in her bed. And her blanket over her head. I am assuming it was to block out the light. ;)

Pool Time

My sister-in-law invited us to swim at her neighborhood pool while we were in Phoenix. IT WAS AWESOME!! It looked like a beach. It was a zero entry pool with sand. The kids had a blast.

Doesn't that look like so much fun?!?! I liked it. The kids liked it. It was a win-win situation. We were there for hours. :)

Memorial Day

We had a fun Memorial Day in Phoenix at my parents house. We had a potluck bbq. It was wonderful. Pretty much our whole family was together. We ate, and chatted, and had a slip-n-slide set up for the kids. Some of the older people enjoyed it too.....

Cody not quite ready to slide on it yet.

Jordan caught with his feet sliding before he did.

The older ones were also having fun with the hose.

My brother John

The girls just stayed at the end where it was safe. There was a little puddle that they were splashing in. They had a blast.

Phoenix

We (meaning the kids and I) went to Phoenix right after school got out. We were down there visiting family for 2 weeks. It was a lot of fun. We did a lot of things, and kept BUSY! One of the things my kids insist on every time we are down there, is going to the zoo. We actually went twice. The kids had a blast. Here are just a few pictures from the zoo that I was able to take with my sister-in-law's camera.

5 of the 6 kids we took to the zoo.
3 of mine, and 1 of my sisters and 1 of my sister-in-law's.
What are they looking at?

The cutest little prairie dog babies. :)

Petting the goats at the petting zoo. I have proof that Jacob got near a goat. He even brushed it! This is Cody though.

The little girls looking at the fish. Natalie and Kayla.

Haircuts

Some people in this house got some haircuts. :) They are cute haircuts in my opinion. Just perfect for these hot summer months. I can't show you who however, because my camera is on the fritz, and I am waiting on my new one. :) To give you a hint, it was more than one person, and no female adult was involved. ;)

Cody

Cody is 7. I can't believe I have a 7 year old....wow. He is going into 2nd grade. He is 46.5 inches tall, and weighs a whopping 42 lbs. :) He wears size 5 shorts, size 6 shirts and jammies, and size 11.5 shoe. He has yet to loose a tooth. The only injury he has had so far could be covered by a bandaid. He has only been to the ER once. I consider myself REALLY lucky so far. :)
