Backyard Fun In The Snow!
OK this was my first video. No matter what I do,
this will not turn the right way. :( But it is so cute
of Weston and Peyton. So just humor me on this one.
Pretend that it is the right way, and turn your head to
the side to watch.

I've been tagged ....
I've been tagged
OK what is up with this tagged business. I have been tagged twice in two different games. I think that people are gaining up on me. OK here is the tag return from the Princess next door.....
Read ahead, and it will explain.
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
1. What was I doing 10 years ago: I was living in at home in Missouri and going to a community college with my friends from high school. I was trying to decide what to do with my life.
2. 5 things on my to-do list today: check the mail, run to Wal-mart, clean the oven, fold laundry, and take a shower without someone crying.
3. What snacks do I enjoy? M & M, Cheetos, pickles, chips and salsa, , popcorn, ice cream, fruit, & cereal. Pretty much anything sweet or with a good crunch.
4. What would you do if you were suddenly a billionaire? Share it with my family and friends. Travel around the world. Start my own reality TV show. Why not, everyone seems to be doing just that these days. Of coarse donate to charity.
5. 3 bad habits? Eat my burgers...ha ha just kidding. When I do a quick clean, I pile it high in the laundry room. Then it tends to stay there for weeks until I do laundry or open the door. Then you are greeted with everything crashing on the floor. Corey loves when that happens. I snack all day long. OK this is gross. When I shower, I put the fallen out hair on the shower wall so it doesn't clog the shower. From time to time I forget to clean it up after my shower. Another reason Corey loves me. snicker snicker....
6.5 places I have lived? Virginia Beach, VA; West New York, NJ; Charleston, SC; Brooklyn, NY; Oak Grove, MO
7. 5 jobs I've had: CEO of the Reed household, social worker in Charleston (helping people with finances and helping them find ways to pay their utilities), server at Chili's, secretary/events planner, Picnic coordinator (organize and supervise company picnics)
8. 5 thing people don't know about me: I am horrible at spelling. Even spell check cannot help me. So I have this pocket size spelling book for dummies. Corey and I plan to have 10 kids. I have always wanted to write a book. One of the things on my bucket list is to use monopoly money at a store check out when I'm old and gray. My favorite magazine is National Geographic.
So I have been purse tagged. OK let's be honest. I am a mom of two kids; so I have a small bag that I carry around everywhere with me. Even I am scared to see what is in the bag. Let's see...wallet, diapers, wipes, baby toys, change of cloths for both kids, Thomas train, play dough, snack bag, Minnie Mouse fuzzy pen, gum, lotion, chap stick, a couple of NUKs, lip gloss, cough drops, mini first aid kit, hand sanitizer, and some forgotten tickets from Chucke Cheese.

Silly Moments
There is never a dull moment with Peyton. He is
always making us laugh or entertaining us with his
silliness. This week he thought it would be fun to put
his crayons in my laundry soap. I had to dump
out the brand new container into a large bowl and fish
out all of the crayons. What a slimy mess for me and
great fun for Peyton. He thought it was so funny!

Will we ever make it to Hawaii?
Our morning started at 3:00 am as we loaded up and headed out the door to the airport.
When we opened the garage door, the ground was covered in 4 inches of snow. A surprise snow storm was hitting, and it did not look like it was going to stop anytime soon. As we made our way to the airport, the roads were horrible and car wrecks were everywhere. We finially made it to the airport just in the nick of time.
We thought for sure we would never make it out of Salt Lake. Once on the plane, we waited 30 min. to de-ice the plane. Then another 30 min. to clear the snow from the runway. This went back and forth for 4 1/2 hours. Meanwhile the snow kept coming down and we were all stuck on the plane! Luckily the kids both fell asleep.
Our 4 hour layover in LA turned into o minites. The plane leaving to Hawaii said that they would hold the plane for 5 minites. The airport also provided carts to transport people faster. While Corey waited for the stroller, I took the first cart with the two kids to try and stall the plane. Just as I was getting off the cart, another cart was coming, there was no Corey. A few paces behind the cart was Corey running pushing the stroller. He ran a mile behind the cart, pushing the stroller trying to make the connector!
Luckliy we made our flight. Once the plane was in the air and things were settled, Corey and I realized that none of us have had anthing to eat all morning. Everyone was starved! The kids were sooo good therough all of it all. There was no fussing or winning. Peyton watched movies and played with toys.
Annisten played and watched everything around her. And she napped!
Papa Mike and Nana T meet us in the Hawaii airport. For 30 min. Peyton asked "Where's papa? Where's nana?" until we found them. When all was said and done... everyone survived the flights and the long waits. Oh and we even had our luggage!

By the time we made it to LA Airport at 3:00 am, everyone was exhausted. There was a 4 hour layover in LAX before we could make the last stretch of the flight home. Our neighbors told us that the Salt Lake airport was closed because of all the snow storms. So Corey and I worried that we would be staying in LA for a day or two. Luck was on our side. The airport opened.
After our long journey we made it home at 12:00pm! Only to find 2 1/2 feet of snow in our driveway!
What an extreme... sunny, warm weather to... cold and lots of snow.
After we all ate lunch and showered, we slept untill 4:30pm.
BURRIED IN SNOW!
It happens in two's....
The next day I woke up to Corey asking for help. On his way to work Corey, he got the car stuck in the driveway. Corey also got the SUV stuck trying to get the car out.
So the two of us...
two cars....
two shovels...
two nighbors...
and two hours later...
we finailly managed to get the cars out of the driveway!
Needless to say we decided to buy a snowblower!
But of then there were
two more hours....
spent on snow removal!
14 inches of snow!
We woke up to a blizzard Sunday morning. Durning the second hour of church, the bishop sent everyone home. He was worried about everyone driving home.
This is what we came home too.
A Look After the Strom...
It Happens in Three's!
Once again we went to work. This time in three's....
Three people removing snow....
three hours of work....
At least one person enjoyed the fruits of his labors.
Snow icecream was the reward of the day to the hardest worker.
I wanna go back to Hawaii.....
