Christmas Present Crafts!

I had fun making a few crafts for Christmas this year.

My mom really liked her birthday calendar.
I liked the way it turned out.  It's hard to see with this picture...it looks a lot better in person.
This one went to Eric's Mom.  I really LIKED this one. I thought it turned out just perfect!

Christmas 2011!

Christmas Morning!
Cooper was the first to wake up around 7:30...not to bad.
We headed down to open stockings.
And then they saw that Santa came!
Santa brought Brooklyn and Easton Rollarblades & Cooper a train push toy.
They also got a helmet and knee pads from us.

My brother, Bryce got a new camera.  My mom got her new camera and a gun.  We got my dad a new wallet, and two ties.  We got my mom a picture frame with photos from Lake Powell and a birthday calendar. (I will post a picture on the next post).  It was a fun morning with my parents.  We went to church and listened to some beautiful music.  Uncle Jonny came over for dinner and we visited.

Later that night we went to Alex and Amanda's and then Bryant and Amy's to open their gifts from my parents.  It was fun visiting and seeing what they got for Christmas too.

Christmas was great. We missed daddy but we talked on the phone a couple of times a day.  Cooper loved talking to him, well yelling at him on the phone. It was cute.
I really felt like we had two Christmas'.  Our family Christmas was perfect and in a way I felt like it was already done.  So Christmas day was just relaxing and easy going.

More photos from Mom's New Camera.
Look at that cute face!

Christmas Eve!

Christmas in Utah
This year, I wanted to go to Utah for Christmas.  I grew up loving the holiday and spending time with my family.  I have missed it since we have lived in Cali.  I wanted to go, but Eric didn't. He wanted to stay home and get some things done with his Mustang.  So I decided I would drive the kids myself to Utah. I know..BRAVE!  And yes I was.  I was really worried about Cooper and the weather..well both did great!  The weather was super dry in December this year, no snow at all. Barely any in the mountains either. I wasn't complaining. I didn't want to drive in bad weather.  We drove the 12 drive in two days.  We left on  my birthday, I know so much fun!  The kids did great.  Even Cooper.  They watched movies and slept.  We stopped in Reno, which was freezing.  And then off to Winnamucca, NV where we stayed the night. The hotel had an indoor pool which the kids loved.  The rooms were a little noisy. I could hear the people next door talking until 1am. But that is ok because they probably heard Cooper crying until then too. The crib they brought in was horrible. It made noises every time he moved.  After awhile he ended up in bed with me, which was a first.  I didn't sleep that well, but that is ok.

The next morning, we got ready and had breakfast and headed to Utah. The weather was FREEZING. 5 degrees outside.  I couldn't believe how cold it was.  Our car was freezing too.  The seats were SOO cold.  Poor Cooper has never felt that cold weather before, he had a weird look on his face.  Our water bottles in the van where rock solid ice. It was COLD, So COLD!  And I was wearing Flip Flops...bad idea Cali Girl!   The kids did great again on the drive.  Cooper never really cried, he just got a little fussy and bored.  Every time I would look back he would give me a smile and a "Are you getting me out?" look.  It was cute.  We made it to Utah and headed to my mom's.  She didn't know we were coming early. She thought we were coming after Christmas and meeting her in St. George. I love to surprise her...I do it all the time.  She was shopping though. So we unloaded the car and my dad came home and was surprised to see us.  Finally when my mom came, we went upstairs and my dad told her that Santa came while she was shopping. She told my dad that he wasn't suppose to buy anymore gifts. Then the kids and I started to sing "We wish you a Merry Christmas" and she came up the stairs to see us. She was shocked. She loved it.  It worth the drive!

Christmas Eve Breakfast
My parent's ward does a Christmas Eve Breakfast every year. The Bishopric hosts the breakfast. I was excited to be in Utah this year so we could go. It was sooo yummmmy!  French Toast with the best sauce ever!   Santa even showed up...imagine that!
My dad got my mom a new camera, so while she ran errands, we played with it!
These were a few shots we took.

Christmas Eve with the Family!
The night included: A big Dinner, Talking, Kids playing and screaming, Talent Show done by all the kids, Cousin gift exchange and Adult White Elephant exchange. It was a fun night with all my family.  Everyone was there except for Jaron's family and Eric.
Once everyone left..it was bedtime..Santa was on his way!

Buzz Lightyear!

Grandma Jo gave Easton a Lego set of Buzz Lightyear for Christmas. He was SOOO EXICTED!
I have never seen him sit in one spot for 3 hours like that. He didn't move until it was done. He did a great following the directions, step by step.  Buzz turned out perfect! Great Job Easton!

30th Birthday/Family Christmas!

We celebrated my 30th birthday (I know I can't believe it either!) and Christmas early this year, since I was leaving for Utah on my birthday. We celebrated it all in one fun night.

1st Birthday Time!
Present time...I got slippers from my brother Bryce, I love slippers! Eric gave me a sonic toothbrush.  Alex and Amanda gave me a cute scarf.  Eric's parents gave me a jewelry box, which will be so nice! Oh..and Eric also got me a really cute coat that I bought myself! Thanks hunny!  And then my parents wanted to do something special for my 30th and give me something that I would remember the big birthday with. They gave me a white gold, london topaz ring.  It is really modern and cute. I LOVED it! I was totally surprised and shocked with the gift.  I was a nice birthday surprise.

The kids were so excited to celebrate Christmas early...they were hyper and the life of the party.
Cooper loved the candles on the cake.  They sang Happy Birthday to me! It was nice!
And then...right when I was going to BLOW...Easton blew them out!  little stinker!!!!!
I finished the two remaining ones that he left.  Look at his face...he knew what he did!
It feels great to be 30!

CHRISTMAS TIME!

Christmas PJ's!

Eric gave me Clues for my Christmas Present.  I will post about it later, so stay tuned.
The clues were 5 round metal plates that had letters stamped on them.  B,G,S,T,O. The B one had 2 and 8 of them. And the G had 12 of them stamped.  All confusing. I had no idea.  It took a week to figure it out. With help from Eric of course.
Cooper loved playing with all the toys!  He especially loved Easton's skateboard until it hit him in the mouth and made him bleed like crazy. Fun times!
Eric got a skateboard too from my parents. So now he and Easton can go play outside together.
We had to try them out!  They had fun..even though it was really cold.

Cooper and his presents!
Brooklyn and her presents.  Grandma Jo spoiled her with clothes, jewelry and a jewelry box.
Easton and his presents.  He got the clothes and lego toy story from Grandma Jo.
I hope they had a great Christmas!  It was a fun night.  And it was also a surprise for them, they didn't know that we were leaving early for Utah.  So it was extra special!

PS..Eric didn't get much...he wanted money for his Mustang. I did get him two ties, some good smelly spray and slippers.
