Just saw a high school friend on the bus and it took me awhile to recall who she was. She looked different for some reason. maybe she has changed or maybe it was abit of a surprise but nonetheless i feel bad for not noticing her right away. anyways. we chatted for like 30 seconds before i had to get off. its nice to see a famailar face.

Hello from Calgary! what a crazy two days it has been. Let's start with yesterday...
Excerpt from yesterday: So i am so silly. I went to bed early (1:30am) so i can wake up early today to pack but of course i woke up at 4:30am this morning and couldn't go back to bed!!! i was so choked. i decided to stay in bed in hopes of falling back asleep again but...nope not successful. It was 8am now, and i was thinking to myself in bed, ok, i will just lie here until 9am and watch a bit of Regis and Kelly before i pack and go to the airport. The next thing i knew the phone is ringing and i was about get upset because it woke me up. It was my friend asking me when i was expected to arrive at the airport. "WHAT!!!?? i gotta go i am late." So i started power packing (meaning just throw everything in, nothing is folded, nothing's organized). Luckily because of my mad skills i managed to wash up, dress and pack within 20 minutes. The only things i forgot was a towel, a fancy purse, and a brush. Not to shabby huh?

Major jet lag
Hey ppls, i am back. back but time wise quite screwed up. i slept 4 hours last nite and just slept another 5 in the middle of the day. messed up. I know that the best way to de-lag is to get back to your destination's normal schedule and getting natural light at the right times. But dang it, it's so hard when the bed is like right there and you know you are so tired.
anyways, i will post about my trip when my head is back in vancouver. hopefully i will get back in order soon as i have lots to do.
on a side note...my little engine that could made it all the way to the states last nite. woah!?!? who knew it had it in her.
