Unsafe
Just attended a course today and would like to remind everyone that email is not a safe form of communication, so be very careful. Everyday we write emails subconciously thinking that only the sender and recipient reads it however that is not always the case. The course reminded us that many others have access to it and sometimes things just happen. For example, the system operator could read it, things gets forwarded accidentally (or on purpose). And if you are at work, basically there is no privacy as it is office property. Our instructor told us of a horror story where this girl wrote a steamy love letter to her boyfriend and he forwarded to his friends, who in turn forwarded to other friends etc. etc.

So I went to future shop today to get my aero points for a purchase I made two weeks ago. When I got there there was this couple returning an entire computer system (monitor, printers and all) so they were holding up the line considerably as there were only two customer service tills. I waited patiently. 10 minutes went by and the line had move up one person with 4 more ahead of me. I was glad i wasn’t in a rush to go anywhere. Then finally it was my turn. Yay!! The girl took all my receipt and things and came back a few minutes later. She then told me that she accidentally punched in the wrong card number and gave my points to another account and it can’t be reversed. Choked!!! I kept my cool since it was an honest mistake but still felt like I have wasted my time and energy going down there only to have my points given to someone else. She later said that she would call the head office and have them change it back.
Lesson learned from this experience: Bring your aeroplan card with you at all times.

Does the bottom of your foot ever get itchy when you are driving?
I hate that. It's so irritating. And you can't get to it because you will stop all traffic.

More set stories...
Today I unexpectedly stubbled upon the production office for "Gray Matter" (the movie that Heather Graham is filming). It was so weird, all i was doing was looking for a cord and before I knew it in was in the middle of their office.
First "in production" and now in their production office. What a coincidence.
Quiet on set (shhh)
I just saw Heather Graham shoot a part of a movie in real life!! It was in the middle of the road. She had to walk out of Hotel Vancouver and cross the street where she leaps up for joy. Her blue hat falls off and then she hurries on her way. The shot took literally 30 seconds but the prep work has obviously been all day. There were all these cool apparatus including a camera crane on tracks that huddles across Hornby from Robson Square. There were also two 35" widescreen LCD for the director and crew to screen the takes. It was pretty neat as I had never been that close to a movie set before. What an operation!
