Today....well, work is going better. It was enjoyable almost. Go figure. Fingers crossed. Got home tonite and decided to download a bunch of songs. Then I remembered......the 80's. They don't make songs like they used to. I am currently listening to "she wants to dance with me" by Rick Astley. Ahhh....those were the days. He was my first english "superstar" that I had a crush on. i remember that my brother brought his....get this....cassette tape and I ended up burning a hole in it because I was constantly playing to it. I know I still have the tape somewhere. Anyways, I used to bring the tape everywhere i go....living room, bedroom, kitchen, yes even the bathroom. Ha haaa. No, nothing sick, in case your head is in the gutter. I even slept with in and listen to it just before falling asleep. Hmm....just looking at a picture of him now.....what was I thinking? I thought he was actually cute back then. lol. Well...on second thought, he ain't such a bad choice for a 10 year old. I could have liked a hoodlum or s/t?
Tomorrow is Friday, YIPPPYYYYYYYYY !!!
I live for the weekend. I never realized this but I enjoy hanging around the home. Don’t get me wrong, I still love going out, but it’s cool not being at work. Maybe it’s because I don't like my job. whatever the case, I like being at home doing crafty things like, writing to nobody on the internet ;o) and chatting with my friends, watching reality TV and being one with my green chair, and downloading songs.......ok,trivia time !
What 80's tune is this???
"Something in the way you love me won't let me be
I don't want to be your prisoner
So baby won't you set me free
Stop playing with my heart
Finish what you start
When you make my love come down
If you want me let me know
Baby let it show
Honey don't you fool around...."
Remember, no cheating (aka looking it up on the net)
Note: this is by a popular artist, however, not sure if the song was a big hit or not? can't remember.
I will reveal the answer if someone come looking for it. have fun !

Ever heard of the phrase "Hope Floats." I first heard it from the movie of the same name starring Sandra Bullock and Harry Connick, Jr. What the heck does "hope floats" mean anyways? Well, think about it, hope is a wish or a wanting. It’s s/t you think about when things seem hopeless. Usually occurs when a situation is beyond your control. Hope is a cushion that gentle cradles you to help break your fall. Hope is a light feeling, usually happy and joyess. Hope is a feeling that is always on the top. Hope is never heavy, never sinks…always floats!
It’s a light film that runs over the bad feeling/situations. It’s never hidden and always visible. I like to think of hope as a transparent liquid that is running over block of ice, something that if you have enough of it, it will eventually melt away the ice underneath, bit by bit, layer by layer. So when you have hope, anything IS possible. Its amazing what two little words can convey. So yeah, Hope Floats. Ok…. enough artsy fartsy crap.
