Course is almost over

So the online course I'm taking is in the final 8th week now. I've learned tons through this course and have so many notes on how to improve and to evolve from now on.

Trying to use som detail..

I struggled with this one. Couldn't get the sence of atmosphere I wanted or depth of field. But it's just another step to go! Practice, practice!

Chef robot

So I've started learning how to use photos in my drawings to create textures and even entire objects. It's quick and a lot of fun. Just gotta be careful not to rely too much on the photos.

Concepts in color

So these started from a reference photo and then I just added some elements and different backgrounds. They're not too detailed as I didn't have much time. But I'm learning a lot about color and atmosphere. It's all practice, practice, practice! and then it gets better! better! better!

Planet landscape in the making...

So this is this week's assignment in progress. The planet's environment is inspired by the grand canyon-type or even Tepui landscape with the really steep hillsides. - Then I'm going to add some buildings around it or maybe some machines. Wish I could say I had a story built around the concept but I don't atm :P
