All of us here at Really Reasonable Ribbon hope that you had a wonderful Christmas, and we wish you all a very happy and blessed New Year.  As you continue your crafting projects, we hope that you will keep Really Reasonable Ribbon in mind when you need any ribbons, trims, twines, flowers, embellishments, adhesives and more.  We're always here to inspire and assist, and we appreciate you all so much.  And....don't forget about the BIG SALE taking place now in the Really Reasonable Ribbon Shop.
This sweet little card was created with some Bundled Up patterned papers and goodies by Crate Paper.  Once I had all my papers where I wanted them, I attached them together with a fabulous Adhesive called Scor-Tape.  Next, I added a length of 3/8" Bright Pink Gingham Ribbon to my card before attaching the sentiment card.  At the top left of the sentiment card, I tucked in a small piece of Burlap Center-Stitch Pink Trim (one of my favorites) along with some Baby Pink Double Head Stamens, Red Double Head Stamens and Aqua Green Double Head Stamens.  They're SO cute!!
Finally, I wrapped some Teal Baker's Twine around my sentiment card, and I tied a bow that includes more Teal Baker's Twine, some Ivory Burlap StringBaby Pink Double Head StamensRed Double Head Stamens and Aqua Green Double Head Stamens.  I topped that with a pink snowflake flair button.  Everything at Really Reasonable Ribbon works together to compliment your cards and projects, and you can always find the perfect colors to match any paper line as you can see here.

Thanks again for stopping by.  We hope that you will visit again soon to see all the fabulous inspiration, to find out about special sales and new products, and to share your creativity with us.  And again, Happy Holidays!

I wanted to share one of my newest art journal pages.   I used some beautiful ribbons, flowers and embellishments from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I used the beautiful ribbons from the December Monthly Ribbon Club - Back to Basics.
Then I added Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to Assorted Daisy in Mixed Aqua.  I tucked Mulberry Paper Leaves under the Daisies and added Antique Bronze Flower Charm.
I then added a vintage photo and some of my artwork to the page.
Wishing you a creative day, dear friends.

Christmas Bluebirds and Peacock Alley Seam Binding

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Bluebirds are associated with happiness and joy.  I think that must be true, because this Christmas Bluebirds Easel card with Peacock Alley Seam Binding makes me really happy!

As much as I love traditional Christmas red, green and gold, I find I'm really enjoying working with these shabby chic pinks and blues!

If I had to choose just one type of ribbon to use for the rest of my crafting life (heaven, forbid!) I would have to choose seam binding ribbon.  It comes in a rainbow of beautiful colors and ties perfect bows every single time.  You can custom dye plain white seam binding ribbon to match any project.  you can wet it and crinkle it to make a messy, shabby bow.  Used the way it comes off the spool, it ties the most gorgeous soft, loopy bows.  Yep.  It would be my number one ribbon choice for sure.

This shabby chic bow cluster tied with my trusty Bow it All Tool starts with a triple loop Peacock Alley seam binding bow.  I topped this with a loopy string bow of metallic gold string.  I'm loving this slightly thicker string that Bonnie is carrying in the shop right now.  I find it is easier to tie, and less likely to kink.  Then I added pink vintage velvet dogwood blossoms to complete the bow.

Here's a peek at the finished card interior.

Wishing you all a happy, healthy and joyful Christmas!

Cinnamon Stick Christmas Tree Ornaments

Hi friends! I hope you are doing well! Today I have some easy homemade ornaments that you make in a jiffy! These are great for little gift and treat gift toppers, too! Think of adding one to a wrapped gift or tied to the top of a yummy plate of homemade Christmas cookies. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't be delighted to receive one of these charming handmade ornaments this year!
To make these fun little trees, you'll just need few cinnamon sticks, a variety of ribbons (great for ribbon scraps too), a bit of twine and glue. It's pretty self explanatory by looking at them. Just tie a few different ribbons around your cinnamon stick and trim them in a fashion that resembles tree branches. For mine, I used Canvas with Gold Metallic Center Line Ribbon, Gingham Red Micro, 3/8" Satin with Grosgrain Loop your twine and stuff the ends together into the top of the stick where there is usually a small hole and add a bit of glue in there to secure the twine. Simple as that! You have adorable and charming little ornaments to share with everyone! These is also a perfect holiday craft to do with the kids and they can give them to their friends, teachers, gifts for other relatives, etc and feel like they did something special. I hope you'll try some of your own and thanks so much for stopping by! Happy crafting and happy holidays!

Christmas Blessings

Hello everyone and Happy Friday to you all! Today's card was created for Really Reasonable Ribbon and will be given to a family member for Christmas. I love the beautiful Satin ribbon I chose to use on this. It's the beautiful Satin with Gold Metallic Edge in Forest Green.

For my card I started with the beautiful design papers that I had picked out of a DCWV paper stack called Mrs. Claus's Kitchen Stack. Love the design in this paper stack, they are so sweet!

The poinsettia's were cut using the Cheery Lynn Designs Poinsettia Strip and then distressed using red ink. Next I used the Gold Stamens from RRR.  The big bow behind them was created with the Metallic Edge Satin, and love how it looks so pretty behind these flowers.

All layers were put together using the Scotch tape Glider, Foam Tabs, and Thin Foam Tabs
The sentiment is from The Project Bin, and the tag is from Cheery Lynn Designs.

I hope you enjoyed my post for today! Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Very Merry December Planner Spread & Ribbon Tassel

Hi friends! Linsey here today sharing my latest planner spread and ribbon tassel for this festive month of December! With all the hustle and bustle the holidays can bring, I like to keep my trusty planner close by. I'm counting down the days til' Christmas and they are going by fast! I hope you enjoy seeing my planner spread--May all your days be merry and bright!
I like to stuff lots of little die cuts and stickers into the side pockets so that I can easily access them when I want to mark something on the daily/weekly planner pages. I also like to add handmade tags and planner clips for an extra special touch. It's super easy to make planner clips with scraps of ribbon. Just loop a small piece through the top of any paper clip and voila! My favorite clip is this one on the white doily above. I used a piece of Victoria White Crochet Lace. For this month's holiday burlap tags, I added a piece of 1/8" Diagonal Stripe Red Ribbon on the smaller one and a piece each of Silver Glitz Ribbon and Christmas Presents on White Grosgrain Ribbon looped through the top of the large tag for a super festive look!
For my December ribbon tassel, I of course had to make it super festive and full of holiday cheer! Here it is in all its glory and also a list of all the scrumptious ribbons I used to create it...
Funky Christmas Trees On White Grosgrain Ribbon
Christmas Presents On White Grosgrain Ribbon
Glitz Ribbon Silver
1/8" Diagonal Stripe Ribbon Red
White 3/8" Ric Rac
Double-faced Satin Emerald Green
Checkerboard Satin Apple Green
5/8" Satin with Grosgrain Edge Poppy Red
Lyndsay White Crochet Lace
And that's all for me! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I really enjoy sharing my planner spreads and ribbon tassels with you! Wishing everyone a very happy and blessed holiday season! Happy crafting!

Have A Cup Of Cheer

Hello again, all my ribbon-loving and coffee-loving friends!  It's Karen Letchworth back again today and ready to share another sweet coffee-themed Christmas card that features lots of fabulous products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Just look at what a few simple products from Really Reasonable Ribbon did for this simple card.  I attached two pieces of older patterned papers and a coffee sentiment card by using a fabulous Adhesive called Scor-Tape and I also machine stitched the edges.  Really Reasonable Ribbon did the rest.
At the bottom of my card, I added a width of 1/8" Red Diagonal Stripe Ribbon, and I used it again in my bow.  It's on top of a bow tied with Bay Leaf Seam Binding and a snippet of Red Center Stitch Burlap.  As you will also see, I tucked in a Red Orchid and lots of sweet Red Double Head StamensWhite Double Head Stamens and Aqua Double Head Stamens.  These adorable little accents have quickly become my new "fave" and they are super affordable (just $1.99 per 160 pieces) and they come in nine gorgeous colors.
At the top of my card, just to balance things a bit; I added a small cream button tied with a piece of Natural Burlap String.  Burlap String is another FABULOUS trim that can be used for so many things; and not only does it come in 15 gorgeous colors, but it also costs just $1.00 for TEN YARDS!  Yup!!  I use it all the time because it's so affordable and SO awesome.   There are LOTS of great products at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and we hope that you will stop by to check it out and treat yourself to something new.  Christmas is right around the corner, so it's the perfect time to check off the one person on your Christmas list who often gets forgotten.....yourself!
Really Reasonable Ribbon is always here to help you find the PERFECT trims and goodies for your next project.  We look forward to having you visit again real soon.

Blessings to you,
Karen

You Warm My Heart

Thanks for stopping by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog today!  Today it's Karen Letchworth sharing another coffee-themed card with you.  This card (much like most all of the cards I create) was creating using some fabulous trims and goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I started with some sweet patterned papers from Echo Park that I machine stitched together and inked on the edges, and I added half of a white doily.  Next, I ran a piece of Lipstick Red Seam Binding across my card and tied a bow with it and some Bay Leaf Seam Binding.  That's topped with two smaller bows tied with Cherry Baker's Twine and Teal Baker's Twine.  The bow is finally accented with a sweet 14mm White Flower Shaped Flatback Round Pearl from our Embellishments section.
I added a journalling sticker and stamped my sentiment on it.  I also added a small sticker at the bottom (to: with candy canes) and a cute little chipboard cocoa cup with marshmallows.  You can find lots of cute trims and little accents at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  It's a great time to work on that Christmas wish list!
There's lots of great inspiration here on the RRR Blog almost every day, so be sure to stop by often.
We always appreciate your visits,
Karen

Happy Holiday Card

It's easy to add that extra wow to your holiday cards using Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I picked up the beautiful colors of the papers that I using the Danish Blue Seam Binding and Peppermint Bakers Twine.  Nothing says Christmas than the Peppermint Bakers Twine.
Next, I added the Juliet Natural Crochet Lace to the bottom.  It adds such softness to the card.  Then I added a little shimmer with some glitter glue.

Wishing you a creative day, dear friends.

I'll Have a Shabby Chic Pink Christmas

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Are you still working on your Christmas cards?  I have been having fun playing with non-traditional ribbons and color palettes this year.  This shabby chic pink Woodland Christmas card adorned with Pearl Pink Swiss Dots Satin Ribbon is so pretty, you could leave it up all winter long.

I love the soft sheen that satin ribbon adds to a card design!

Easel cards are one of my favorite fancy folds to make, because they can double as home decor.

This triple loop bow tied beautifully, thanks to my Zutter Bow-it-All Tool.  I use it literally every single time I create!

A little gift card/treat pocket, a little spot to write a personal greeting, and this one's ready for the mail! Now on to the next card!

Thanks for stopping by!
