Birthday Wishes Card

Hello ribbon lovers.  Bonnie here today and I'm sharing another birthday card.  I can never keep up with all the birthdays, so I'm trying to build a bit of a 'birthday card stash'.  Wish me luck!

My card today features my favorite Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon and one of the new Heart Shaped Dotted Wave Rhinestones from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I'm also guest designing this month over on the Crafting by Designs Challenge Blog and the theme this month (June) is 'Anything Goes'.  Head on over and link up a project!
I'm still playing around with Distress Inks and I'm LOVING them.  So much fun!  I also added some Distress Oxide Inks on the paper I made for the roses.
I wrapped some 5/8" Regal Purple Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon around the center of my card under the sentiment and topped that with 3/8" Tutti Frutti Chevron Grosgrain Ribbon for some added color.

My pretty bi-color bow was made on my Bow-it-All V3.0 tool using 5/8" Hot Pink and Regal Purple Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I finished off the center of the bow with a pink Heart Shaped Dotted Wave Rhinestone.

For a video tutorial on how I made this beautiful bow, please click HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  For more information on any of the other products I used on my card, please visit my Make Time to Craft Blog.

Fun Post Card

Hello, and thank you for stopping by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog today as I, Karen Letchworth,  share a simple, but very sweet card I created using three FABULOUS products from  Really Reasonable Ribbon.  In my opinion, it's all the ribbons, trims and twines we use on our cards and projects that give them depth, texture, and personality.  I really love how this turned out, and really love what my RRR trims add to it (and to every project).

(Please Note: This card was created using several products from my super stash.  You can read the complete supply list and see more details about this card (original design credit) on my blog, My Cup Runneth Over.)
I carefully inked the edges of my ivory card stock base and attached all my patterned papers, sticker borders, etc., and machine stitched them into place.  I did some hand stamping at the top, and once I had all my patterned papers in place, I ran a long length of Natural Solid Baker's Twine around my card three times, and tied it into a bow.  I can't get enough of this GORGEOUS Natural Solid Baker's Twine - it's AWESOME!!!
I added a paper flower at the top left of my card, and I tucked a snippet of Ivory Natural Crochet Lace underneath the brad I put in the center of my flower.  I also used LOTS of fabulous Scor-Tape to hold this card together.  I love using Scor-Tape to make my cards because I know that it will stand the test of time and keep my card together.  It's an AMAZING Adhesive.  I just LOVE it!
I love how that piece of Natural Crochet Lace looks tucked into that flower.  This is a great way to use up little scraps of lace you might have after making another project.  Really Reasonable Ribbon also has lots of great Mulberry Flowers that you can use to accent with a piece of Ivory Natural Crochet Lace or other trim.  AND......don't forget about the fun challenge taking place now on the blog.

Thanks again for stopping by today!

Little Accents Make Big Impacts

Hello ribbon lovers!
I am excited to be sharing a beautiful layout using Really Reasonable Ribbon products.
On this layout, I wanted the photos of one of my many antiquing adventures to be center stage.  I used the beautiful Deep Ivory Open Roses and the Burlap Natural String on the tag.  I love the versatility of the Burlap Natural String.  It can be layered with ribbons, small enough to add a sweet bow to small flowers or all on it's own.
Next I added another one of my favorite laces, the Debra Natural Crochet Lace.
I finished with adding small amounts of burlap and vintage buttons.
Sometimes the little accents make big impacts.
Hope you are inspired to add a few accents to your next layout or creative project.

Lovely

{judy} Hello Ribbon Friends! Today I have a "lovely" card to share.
My background was made with Distress Stains painted into my embossing folder, spritzed, and then run through my Big Shot. I love how it turned out.
I then adhered a doily and wrapped it to the back of the card, so only half was showing. I added some beautiful Aqua Satin Shimmer Ribbon, and a Rhinestone Ribbon Slider for my trims, and used one of the beautiful Magnolia Blossoms in the RRR Store.
I finished off my card with a word die from Concord & 9th. All of my layers are adhered using Scor-Tape.

A fun card mixing traditional elements, as well as a newer technique! Thanks for stopping by!

Enjoy the Little Things Gift Box and Mini Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers! I'm always on the lookout for fun ways to share a gift card. The other day I was putting together a birthday present for one of our daughters-in-law when a very fun idea came into my head.  So I grabbed my Graphic 45 Cafe Parisian papers and some pretty Pink Salmon Seam Binding Ribbon and put together this fun gift box and mini card set.

Isn't it cute?  The base is a 3x4.25" matchbox that I've had in my stash forever.  I simply dressed it up with pretty Cafe Parisian papers and images.  Then I created a small easel style topper, added some posies and a pretty Pink Salmon Seam Binding bow.

I left room behind the "stopper" so that I could slip a little gift card inside.

But that's not all!  Open the matchbox drawer and.....

There's a super cute mini card tied with the same pretty ribbon.

I created a belly band that holds an individually wrapped chocolate, and a cute little tuck spot for my handwritten personal message.

This was such a fun and easy project to make, that I plan to do more.  I hope I've shared an idea or two with you that you can use in your own crafty adventures.

Thanks for stopping by!
Cheerio,

Mr. Fix It

Hi friends! Happy Friday! I have a fun little card to share with you today that will be great for upcoming Father's Day. It's always difficult for me to get creative when it comes to masculine cards, but this one was easy a 1-2-3. My dad is a super handy guy and always seems to be able to fix things, no matter how impossible they are. I guarantee that my parents have saved lots of money in the fix-it dept.! I wanted to make him something special to celebrate my dad for Father's Day this year and this is what I came up with.
I decided to use some really cute tool die cuts and I made the card base shaped like an apron, so I could tuck all the guy stuff inside the front pocket. The front of the apron is a nice neutral pattern in order to keep it manly and not too busy. I also kept the back portion of the card to give the look of a work shirt underneath (usually both front and back are cut off). I folded Burlap Center Stitch Navy ribbon in half and looped it through the eyelet holes at the top of the apron and also added a cut strip and scrap piece to the bottom and top of the pocket for accents.
I hope you like it! I found tons more inspiration on Pinterest by typing in "apron shaped card"--wow! So many wonderful creations! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy weekend and happy crafting!

Birds, Blossoms and Butterflies Tag Set

Hi Friends! My day here on the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog.

I have two altered layered tags to share. I used lipstick red and mimosa yellow seam binding.

I have been enjoying mixing bright colors together lately.  Summer is almost upon on us and I am craving sunshine and warm breezes.  These tags remind me of long Summer days with the butterfly, birds, and blossoms theme.
I adorned each one with lots of yummy embellishments, chipboard pieces, and Anemones pastel bunch flowers.
I also used gingham covered buttons from the RRR store.
Well that is it for me today! Thanks for visiting, Cherry

First Birthday Banner, Sign & Treat Bags

Hello everyone, and happy Wednesday to all! Today I have a few things to share that I made for my Granddaughters 1st birthday using Really Reasonable Ribbon & embellishments. I LOVE how everything turned out, we had a lot of fun doing this sweet party for our dear Granddaughter Chloey. My daughter helped with with the treats and the wrappers for the candy bars. Lots of fun!

In the 1st photo we made a sign for the treat table, I added a big bow using Really Reasonable Ribbons 7/8" Circus Grosgrain dots. in Geranium pink.
For the banner I cut out all the Minnie mouse heads, and added the letters that I cut using the cricut. I then made a ton of bows and added buttons to the centers. These were made also using the 7/8" Grosgrain Circus dots.

Treat bags- I made the bows with the black circus dots, and then added the super sweet flatbacked candy resin dots for the centers of all the bows on these sweet candy bags. I was able to print off these celebrate Mickey and Minnie heads for my treat bags. The dies I used are from Cheery Lynn Designs.

I hope you enjoyed my post for today! I surely enjoyed creating all these fun projects for the sweet birthday party.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a lovely day!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

Butterfly Greeting Card Set

Hey Peeps. Well I'm going CAS today. I know..it surprised me to. When I got my supplies out to create cards all the fun little images and die cuts just fell into place and I thought why not? Everything doesn't need to have flowers and chippies and embellies. Sometimes you just need a quick card that's good for any occasion that can be mailed in a regular sized envelope right?

I had a fun time mixing some vintagy patterns of paper with some that were just a bit edgy and on trend. Layers of die cuts, RRR trims, and simple pearly accents create loads of detail.

Okay that's all for me. Wishing all of you a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G

Friendship Mini Album

Hello, all  my ribbon loving friends!  Karen Letchworth posting today and sharing a Paper Bag Album that I created to share with you all. I used three brown paper lunch bags that I covered in patterned papers, reinforced with cream card stock to bind, and then machine stitched to secure.  Then, I got busy decorating it with several of my favorite products from Really Reasonable Ribbon. On the cover, you will see Solid Ric Rac, as well as a snippet of Burlap Center Stitch GreenTurquoise Plaid Ribbon, and Sunflower Swiss Dots Grosgrain.
On the second page (below), you will see a snippet of Turquoise Plaid Ribbon.  Each page has a large open space for photos, journalling, etc.  Paper Bag Albums are a great way to display photos and create memories.  This album was created using papers and chipboard, etc. from an older sewing-themed line. Mini albums are also a great way to use up leftover patterned papers and embellishments. 😉
Page Three doesn't have any trim.  However, it has a pocket that holds a photo/journal tag that is trimmed with Turquoise Plaid RibbonSunflower Swiss Dots Grosgrain, and Celery Green Plaid Ribbon.  I just love seeing those gorgeous ribbons peeking out the other side.
I also took a close-up photo of Page Three (below) so that you can get a better view of all the fabulous ribbons and trims peeking through from the tag tucked in the pocket next to this page, as well as some Ivory Burlap String, some Mulberry Paper Leaves and trims from the next page.
Page Four has a length of Ivory Grosgrain Ribbon that I ran down the middle of the page and looped at the top singed with a length of Solid Red Baker's Twine and topped with a Two-Toned Green Sweetheart Blossom.
Page Five has small tag that is tied with 3/8" Plaid Moss Green Ribbon and has some Ivory Burlap String tucked underneath it.  I'm only sharing the close-up photo of this page because there's no other trim on this page.  The rest of the page is open space for another photo or journalling.
Page Six (below) is covered with patterned papers and decorated with some Mulberry Paper LeavesIvory Burlap String, paper flowers, (and I used the darker red ones found in the Red and White Mixed Sweetheart Blossoms).
I took a closer photo of all the pretty Red and White Mixed Sweetheart BlossomsMulberry Paper LeavesIvory Burlap String and Mulberry Flowers I used on this page.  Really Reasonable Ribbon has SO many great ribbons, trims and goodies that you will always be able to find the perfect colors for ANY project you're working on,  I encourage you to check it out for yourself at  Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Page Seven has no trims, but again has a pocket that contains a tag tied with 3/8" Plaid Moss Green Ribbon.  Mini albums are SO much fun because of all the layers of pages, ribbons and trims that are packed into one small creation,
Making paper bag albums is easy and fun, and Really Reasonable Ribbon can help you find all the perfect ribbons, trims, twines, flowers and embellishments for EVERY project.  Be sure to check out the Really Reasonable Ribbon Shop, and also come play along in the current challenge on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.

Have a crafty week!
