FOREVER

It has been SO long since I have put a post up on our blog. Part of the reason is I changed the background and I couldn't view my blog for some reason. I changed the background on another computer so I hope I can view my blog on my computer now. Since I have last blogged, Abbie was born! I will hopefully post pictures from that and other festivities that we have been up to since then!

Rocky Top

This past weekend we went to the opening game for the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. It was fun but it was hotter than I expected and I ended up getting blisters on the walk back to our car. Jackson was a little scared at first but soon warmed up when he saw the players come out of the tunnel. We got seats that were pretty high up so I wasn't expecting it to be very crowded but boy was I wrong! It was packed, I guess because it was the first game of the season. The Vols ended up winning 50-0! We are going to another game on the 25th (Adam wanted to get as many games in before Abbie arrived) against UAB. We got really good seats for that game so I won't have to do as much walking. We will be sitting on the 4th room near the end zone! Needless to say Adam will be in heaven! Stadium before everyone decided to show up.

No matter what we do Jackson does not like to look at the camera. This was the best we could do for a family picture.

Jackson and I before the Vol Walk. This is where all of the players walk through fans to get into the stadium. The band plays and everyone cheers, it's really fun.

Daddy and Jackson waiting for the Vol Walk to start. Jackson didn't think this was very fun because everyone was cheering really loud as the coaches and players went by. He kept saying "All done?"

Baby Joseph and Mamaw's Boat

A couple of weeks ago we went out on my Mom's boat for a day of relaxing in the sun! I was perfect weather, not too hot! Jackson has learned to love the water this year and has become quite independent while he is in the water. He didn't like staying close with Daddy in the "big" water but he had fun anyway.

I love these last two pictures! This is my nephew Joseph and Jackson playing on the floor. I had to sneak and get the camera to take these pictures otherwise Jackson would have gotten up. I think he is going to be a great older brother!

Check out Joseph's mohawk! No matter what my sister does it won't stay down!

Opening Presents

Jackson was so excited to open presents. Carley (Adam's sister) wrapped all of them and she even decorated the house before we got there for Jackson.

He loves Toy Story so he was excited to get this Bullseye flashlight.

I didn't get any pictures with him and the other toys he got. He got two Thomas the train characters with TONS of track!

Guess who is THREE!

I can't believe that Jackson is three! His birthday was July 28th and we spent it with Adam's family in Yorktown. The whole day I was really nostalgic for some reason, maybe because he is getting older and we are going to add another kid into the mix. I was never that way with his other two birthdays but for some reason I was with this one. Th whole day I was remembering everything that was happening whenever I would look at the clock. I would say, "And this is when the doctor told me we had to do a c-section," which I'm sure Jackson didn't really care. I am so grateful for this little boy in my life. We have definitely had our challenges with him like all parents do but he has grown into such a fun and happy little boy! He can be a stinker but I am glad that he is our stinker! We love you Jackson! Jackson with his Aunt Carley and Uncle Kyle getting ready to blow out his candle!

Birthday dinner consisted of a two bowels of cereral while we ate meatballs and pasta salad.

I think this is the best picture I have EVER gotten of this kid! He always turns his head before the picture flashes! Look how big he is!

Grandma and Grandpa Reams bought this pool so that he could enjoy it while we visited. He would alternate between the trampoline and the pool.

My two cuties snuggled in bed on Jackson's birthday. Notice their arms......they are so much alike!

Latest Happenings Part 2

While my brother was visiting we went to the Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg. Jackson absolutely loves this place, he asks everyday if we can go see the Sharks.

Jackson on my Mom's boat doing what he does best, eating junk!

This is the only picture I could get of him looking at the camera. All of the other ones he would turn his head before the camera would take the picture, little stinker!

My brother Brian and his little boy Maddox-such a cutie!

Latest Happenings

The last two weeks my brother Michael and his family came to visit from Oklahoma and we had a blast! He has three girls so it was hard for him to adjust being around Jackson just because he was a boy. We wish that they lived closer, maybe one day! This is Savannah, Maddox (Brian's little boy, and Jackson) making a mess in Jackson's room!

Savannah sitting on Brian's back admiring the work of her cousins!

Jackson had some chocolate as you can see! I had to take a picture because his face was covered!

Adam found Jackson like this one morning (yes he is still asleep). Jackson fell asleep in our bed and then Adam took him to bed. Before he put him down he cleared his bed so that he would have a place to sleep. Apparently in the middle of the night he grabbed everything that Adam took off and put it in bed with him again.

For Mother's Day the young women made cakes for the husbands to buy to raise money for young women's camp. I was on the phone and looked for Jackson because he was a little too quiet and this is where I found him, caught-red handed!
