Family reunion, Portland 8.16.2014

This Saturday we drove down to Portland to see my Grandma Pat and my aunts and uncles. My Grandma now lives in California and she flew in with my aunts. We haven't seen my Grandma in a couple of years. She is now 83 years old. We made sure that we could go visit, who knows if/when we will get to see her again. (We skipped out on a Saturday Stake conference church meeting to go see them, we decided Family is more important!) I think this is only the 2nd time in my adult life that my dad's siblings have all been together. I made sure I got a few pictures to document it! They all hate having their pictures taken! My dad was standing next to my Gma. (He is the hardest to get to cooperate..) So I quickly went to my Uncle Vic and practically dragged him out of his chair and told him he needed to come for pictures. When I had the "boys" there by Grandma, I went and got my aunties and told them, hurry, the boys are already by Grandma. Luckily it worked. Then it was to get them all to smile at the same time and have no obscene gestures..
Here are the results. In birth order it is , My dad - Don, Vic, Judy, Kathy, and Ellen. In the pictures it is My dad, Don, Judy, Kathy, Ellen, Grandma, and Vic.

It was good visiting with everyone! I missed my cousins from Uncle Vic/Aunt Chris's side especially. A special shout out to my cousin Heidi who my aunt (her mom) says we look like twins.

Tom was super nice and took all of us out to pizza! Thank-you Tom!

Aunt Chris and Aunt Judy - talking about their grand kids! :) And showing pictures from their phones

After the group pictures, helping Uncle Vic up. :)

Sometimes (most of the time) Keagan & Melissa were "bored" (Too bad, I didn't have any chores for them to do.)

 My dad and Ray

I love this one of my dad and Ray, I just wish the water bottles weren't in the way! It is hard to get such great smiles from both of them.
