I really thought I had dropped off the blogging band wagon, but I am going to try to do better because it also encourages me to take pictures...and I will tell you...the last year has gone pretty picture less except the ones I take on my phone.
Any way, to catch up on Kayden's birthday 2011...My little boy turned 4. My little boy who is growing in to such a strong, opinionated, sports loving, energetic, happy, passion for learning, smart little boy. He is a great little guy who wants to please everyone and make everyone laugh. As Kayden's cousin, Brody, would say, "Kayden is a good bey!"
Kayden didn't want a cake for his birthday. He wanted to have cake pops. The day before his party I spent all day looking for cake pop pan only to find out that you don't need a cake pop pan to make them. I stayed up to all hours of the night making cake pops so that when I woke up in the morning I could dip them. I let Kayden help me with dipping them and he had a blast doing that.
I was able to get the week off of Kayden's birthday so I was able to spend a lot of quality time with him. Kayden loved every minute that I was able to spend with him...and I loved it to. His birthday was on a Wednesday so he didn't have school that day. He wanted me to take him in to my work and show him where I worked. I did and he got all the attention from the ladies at work and he loved every minute of it.
That night we let him pick where he wanted to go to eat and he picked Red Robin. He loves that place. So we took him there and they sang happy birthday to him. After Red Robin we went to Grandma Gayle's house and had the cake pops and ice cream. His cousins were there and they had a blast. Kayden was so fun to watch open his gifts.
This is the part where I overload my blog with pictures of my little birthday boy...
