Oliver's 2 year pictures

After months of being on the run after Oliver, we were able to FINALLY catch him long enough catch a few pictures of him!

Wednesday, December 29, 2010

Well, Christmas 2010 has come and gone. Oliver had a great Christmas and although he really didn't know what was happening... he still gave Mom and Dad a great reaction to his gifts!
Nana and Bapa came over for Christmas eve dinner, it was nice and quiet!

!
Here is Oliver in some cute PJ's Great Aunt Arlyne got him.

This is Dapper Dan, one of Oliver's gifts from mom and dad. Mom found this and thought of Uncle Bob as he had a little doll like this when he was little. Mom was more excited about it then Oliver, he has yet to touch the doll.

This is what Oliver saw when he came running down the stairs with Dad early morning. He ran towards it yelling "BALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL"... best reaction ever for us!

For Christmas this year, Nana and Bapa Nadeau got Oliver a membership to The Little Gym. We got to try out a free class and Oliver LOVED IT!!!! He and Bapa will be taking the classes during the week this winter to get energy out.

At the begining of every class they start out with bells and singing.

Here is Oliver and a few other kids not wanting to play with the bells and instead, wanting to check out the climbing fun!

Learning tumbling

The goal here was to get him to swing while hanging onto these rings.... he wanted to hit them. He'll get it one day.

Each week in class they work on something new. This week they worked with Balloons! Oliver LOVED trying to catch them all, kick them around and in general just pick them up and say, "BALLLLLL"... it was so much fun to watch!

On December 23rd we took Oliver to get his first hair cut. Needless to say, he wasn't a fan.... as to be expected on the first time. Here are some pictures from the experience.

Here is he watching to tv and not knowing what's coming.

And she begins and he starts the flow of tears!

At the end she just wanted to hold mom's hand... which was fine cause she was crying just as much as he was. (not ready for him to grow up more!)

A couple of nights later we took Oliver to "lights in the park". At Lake Phalen in St. Paul they set up tons of Christmas lights. One set up was a train, another was a pirate ship with it shooting an elf out of the cannon. It was a lot of fun and After we drove past each display, Oliver clapped! Then, he zonked OUT!!!

New event here at the Lowe house. Oliver no longer use's his highchair for meals! We thought we'd give it a try and he has loved being able to eat at the table with mom and dad, so we are going to keep this trend going.

He's been doing very well with cereal and milk in the mornings, and of course his juice!

More fun pictures soon to follow!

Well, winter is officially here.
We are on the hunt this year for new indoor activities. Hopefully we find plenty to keep us busy, because this little guy has energy.... but we like it that way!

Oliver and his friend Maverick waiting to get into the indoor play gym.

Maverick is 4 months older the Oliver, so he watches out for him and helps him when needed!

Once the bigger kids got out of the jumpy the boys had a blast! They play so well together.

On the first snow fall this year we got 6 inches. We didn't leave the house that day so we went out to make our own fun in the front yard!

This random picture is of the lip. I got this pout when I took the banana away as he was trying to eat the whole thing at once! He wasn't happy with me.

Grandma Nadeau told us that Oliver needed his own chair for his playroom, so she found this for him. He LOVES it!!! This is HIS spot and he lets you know it!
