"I Feel Like I'm Falling for Fall"

We went to the Pumpkin Patch with the family last week, it was really fun. The day was perfect! We spent the whole day there, I didn't think the boys would last that long, but they did. I can't wait for next year!

P.S. Parker and Connor were there too, I didn't realize that I didn't have any pictures of them until I down loaded everything. Oh well...I guess another "Mother of the Year" moment for me. :P

Memorial Day 2010

We had a great Memorial Day. We stayed at Rory's parents house all weekend. The weekend was beautiful! This was by far the best Memorial day I have had here in Minnesota. It was 90 degrees I think on Saturday, Sunday it rained in the morning, but cleared up in the afternoon, and Monday it was around 75 to 80 degrees. We spent Saturday and Monday cruising around the lakes, stopping off both days at little lake shore restaurants for lunch. It was awesome! I'm hoping for the rest of the summer to be just as wonderful as Memorial Day weekend was.

I thought this was pretty funny because I didn't know it had happened until I downloaded the pictures. But getting Max wiping his nose on Parkers hair was priceless ;P

We had a big day around here a few weeks ago. Parker turned 12 and received the priesthood. My parents flew out for the big event. We didn't tell Parker they were coming, so it was a big surprise to him when they walked in. It was so nice to be able to surprise Parker like that. Anyway, that Sunday Rory ordained him a deacon, it was so special to have my parents there for that. They had to leave that Monday, so it was a short trip, but I'm so happy they came out for such a special day.

Guess What...

I'm so excited...I can't believe it! I thought for sure it would be a girl, I really wanted a girl, everyone I know that is pregnant is having a girl. To be honest I was a little worried of what my reaction would be if they said it was a boy, but once I was in that room looking at the little heartbeat, I didn't care what it was, I'm just thrilled to have another baby. I'm so excited... I can't wait. :)

Updating my Blog

Well it has been awhile since I have updated my blog, so I thought I would give a short update on everyone.

Max:
He is so much fun to have around. He makes me smile every time he walks into the room. He is growing so fast. I can't believe he wears a 4T in clothes!!!! He is talking up a storm right now. Yesterday I was trying to get something away for him and he said "stop it mama" I died laughing. We have been stuck inside with the weather, so we have been playing indoors a lot. He loves his fire truck, he will not go to bed with out it. He also loves to read this book called BIG and little. It is a super cute book, I could recite it word for word right now, we read it a lot! Anyway, we love him he is a great kid.

Parker:
Parker is growing up so fast. He is super busy. He plays percussion in the 6th grade band. He has been taking piano lessons for about a year and a half now. He will have his first judging in February, so he is pretty excited about that. He is also on the chess team at school. When he joined the team a couple months ago I thought it was just for fun, but they have a few tournaments they play in in the spring. Then he is playing basketball. Last Saturday his team won second place in the RCW tournament, he got a medal for that so, needless to say, he was super excited about winning. Like I said before, he is growing up so fast. He will be 12 at the end of February he will be going into the Young Mens!!!! We love having him around, he is always keeping us on our toes.


Rory and I have been pretty busy lately. For those of you who don't know we are expecting a baby this summer. That is one of the main reasons I have not posted anything for a while. I have been so sick. The last thing on my mind is taking pictures and putting them on the blog. Anyway, we are super excited. We will find out what we are having in February...I can't wait!! Rory, like always, is working hard at the bus garage. The weather we have been having lately has made the school schedule super crazy. Rory is up at 5:00 am in his truck checking the roads. A few weeks ago he got his truck stuck in a snow drift and it took him hours to get it out.... crazy, crazy. Anyway, he has been working hard at church too. He is the Elders Quorum President in our branch. He has had that calling for about six months now, and I think he likes it :). It is a lot of hard work, but he is pretty dedicated to it. It weirds Parker out when the call him President ;P. Anyway, things have been going well with me. I have gotten over most of the sickness with my pregnancy, and have been enjoying wearing sweat pants all the time ;P. They have just called me to be the second counselor in Young Women's, so that keeps me pretty busy. Other than that nothing too exciting going on around here. Oh yes, I forgot. We finally signed on our home last Friday!!!! I forgot because we have been living here for about 3 months now, so we are already moved in. But it took along time to get here so we are super excited that it finally happened. I wanted to post a picture of the house, but it is a blizzard outside today, so once It gets a little better I will post a picture of the house.
