Rachael and my mom came for a visit last week. It was so fun to have both of them here, we loved every minute of it. We stayed in Minneapolis for a few days and saw the sights :). We went to the Rain Forest Cafe and ordered the VOLCANO it was awesome. It's a brownie and ice cream mountain with a sparkler on top. It was fun to see and eat :). We went to the Walker Arts Museum, this is were the famous Cherry and Spoon bridge is located. We also found the cutest cup cake shop. They had the best cup cakes ever! We went to the shark aquarium at the Mall of America and rode on some of the rides at amusement park. We had a busy couple of days. Rachael flew back home on Saturday and my mom came home with me. It was so nice to have her here. Everything is so much easier when she's around. She spent so much time with Parker and Max, making scrapbooks, cupcakes, reading, and just enjoying being with her grandkids. She helped Parker make a diorama for his history project, it turned out wonderful!! Sadly, Max got to it before I was able to get a good picture of it. Oh well :). I was so excited that she was going to be here for Parkers history project. He did a report on Neil Armstrong. They were set up in the hallway and the idea was that you were in a wax museum, you had to push a button on their had and they would tell you about the person they chose. It turned out really well, Parker did such a great job. Anyway, we just stayed around Granite Falls the week she was here. Like I said before, it was so nice to have her here, we can't wait for her next visit. :) I love you Mom!!
