Happy 2nd Anniversary !

It was our anniversary on Saturday. Rory and I have been married for two years! I can't believe it. It has been wonderful being married to him. Rory brings so much happiness to our marriage. He has a great sense of humor, and is able to put things into perspective. There aren't words to describe how much I love and appreciate all he does for me and for our family, I just feel so grateful that we are married. I Love you Ror!!!! :)

Grandmas Marathon 2008

Well we did it, Shannon and I completed the 2008 Grandmas Marathon!!!! We had a great time, the marathon course runs along the Lake Superior scenic highway so... there was a lot to look at to get your mind off of any pain:). It wasn't so bad, it is defiantly a race I'll do again.

The whole family came up to support us so the next day we did some sight seeing, that was fun as well. The whole weekend turned out amazing, I can't wait to do it again next year!

The Big Tidy Up!

Jennifer knew, as well as you, that everything has it's place...But she didn't care a whit, a bit, so her room was a real disgrace!
So begins my favourite childhood story: The Big Tidy Up! I remember Mrs. Robinson, my elementary librarian, reading this book to our class once, and I fell in love with it. I remember checking it out every chance I got. Well about a year ago I was looking to purchase it and I went to Amazon and found it was selling for over $200 dollars!!!! I could not believe it, I headed to eBay...even worse, I think the cheapest was $285. Anyway, I found out that they were republishing it and it came out at the end of May. Well, while Rachael was out visiting we were in Barnes and Noble and we got the last two copies they had!!!! I can't put into words how excited we both were to buy this book. I have it on my night stand, it just makes me happy to see it when I walk by.

Rachael's visit

Rachael flew out to Minneapolis last weekend. Rory went to Utah for a quick two day trip ( his brother was graduating and blessing their new baby all in the same weekend, Congrats Jodi & Brant!). Anyway, so I wasn't alone, Rachael flew out just for the weekend. We stayed in Minneapolis and went to the Children's Museum, the Minnesota Children's festival, and of course the Mall of America. It was so good to spend time with her, thanks for coming Rach, we always have fun when you are around!

Rory and Parker

Rory chaperoned Parker's 4th grade class at the year end camp out. They both said they had a pretty good time. Enjoy the pictures!
