Pinewood Derby

It was Parker's pinewood derby this weekend. We all worked on it, it was defiantly a last minuet thing. The date just snuck up on us :). The derby started at 2:00 and the paint just finished drying at 1:45. We had a good time doing it. Parker won 1st place in his Weblos den, he was pretty happy about that. It was a good weekend.

Easter Weekend '08!

We had a great Easter weekend. Grandma and Grandpa Proctor flew out from Utah to help us celebrate. We went to a small little town called Woodlake for their community Easter egg hunt. The funny thing about it was there were only about 10 kids at the hunt and 6 of them were from the Marshall Branch, it almost felt like ward Easter party! It was really fun! The snow made it a little more interesting. Parker and Jordan both won huge Easter baskets. Easter Sunday was fun too. Shannon and Larry came to church with us. My mom and Shannon helped me with my Easter lesson, we made Easter lily's out of hand prints, it was so good to have both of them there. Then we came back to our house for Easter dinner. It was such a fun weekend. It was so nice to have a house full of family.

Parent Teachers Conference

Rory and I went to Parker's parent teacher conference the other day, we are so proud of him. He is doing so well in school. I think the thing I am most proud of is how kind he is to others. Both of his teachers said that he is a kind boy, they said he has such a kind heart. Rory and I were happy to hear that. Although, it was short lived, the next day we got a phone call from the school saying he had gotten into a fight playing four square:). O well, we remember how intense four square was when we were little. Anyway, Parker had to write about a favorite memory he had. He chose tubing at the lake. I thought it was so cute! I loved it! I had to share it with everyone.

Max Laughing.

Max was laughing a lot this morning. I grabbed the camera to recorded it but... he was more interested in the camera than laughing. Finally, toward the end of the video I got him to laugh. He is so much fun. He just turned 7 months old this week and it is like someone just put a quarter in him, he is constantly babbling it is super cute.

Where’s my hair?

Rory and I thought that our kids would have a ton of hair. Well…little Max is still pretty bald. His hair is darkening up a little, but we are still waiting on that full head of hair to come in.

Happy Birthday Parker!

Parker turned 10 on Feb 26. We had a little family party for him. His big present was the guitar hero, he loves it! We have Alice Cooper "Schools Out for Summer" echoing through the house all the time, Parker is either playing it or singing it. We are trying to get him to play another, but he says he feels cool playing that song.
