A Midsummer Night's Dream

The Prairie Fire Children's Theater came to town this week. They put on an adapted version of A midsummer night's dream. Parker was one of the groundlings. The groundlings bother everyone by casting spells. Parker had such a good time, he worked really hard. The Prairie Fire Children's Theater comes to small towns and gives children the opportunity to perform in plays. It is headed up by two professional actors, that teach the kids their parts in only a week. The kids work so hard. Parker was in rehearsals from 3:30 to 7:45 at night, but by the end of the week they have a great play to perform.

Morning with Max.
Max is such a happy baby in the morning, actually, he is happy all the time. We have such a good time with him.

Holenberg Apple Orchard

Rory took a fieldtrip to the Holenberg Apple Orchard the other day, he came home with a bushel of apples and a carmel apple for me. I wasn't that excited about the apples until I bit into one. I didn't think anything would taste better than chocolate to me, but theses apples take a close second. There aren't words to describe these apples. In fact, if I've talked to you on the phone in the last couple of days you know how much I love these apples. Anyway, we took Parker and Max there to pick out pumpkins and get more apples. We had a great time, this will defiantly be a tradition for us!

Jack Parker & Max Bennett

These are the first of many pictures that Max & Jack will have together. They're the beginning of the baby train that has visited most of the Bennett family. Shannon started it last October, then I got pregnant in November. We were all so excited when Jodi announced she was having a baby, then Nikki surprised us all with the news she was pregnant. So, as you can imagine, we are all anxiously waiting for the next two babies to complete the train! It will be a lot of fun to have so many cousins close in age.

Parkers 1st day of 4th Grade!
Little Allstar

Here are more pictures of Max. Babies change so fast. I can't believe how much he has grown in just a month. I took him in for his 2 week appointment and he was 9lbs 12oz. The next week I had to take him in for something else and he was up to 11lb 8oz. I can't believe how fast he is growing. I know we are starting him out young with football, but the poor kid doesn't have a chance of doing much of anything else with the genes he has running through him :) .

Baby Max!

We are so excited about our new baby. He is perfect. He was born on Aug 3rd @ 3:40pm. Everything went well, no complications. He was 8lbs 9oz. He was a little jaundice, but that cleared up with in a week. Parker has been a great big brother. He is so excited to see him every morning. He is such a big help when I am changing Max's diaper and when I am feeding him. It is a little different going back to the baby stage but it is a good different :).

Day at the Lake
Trip to Mount Rushmore

On our way out to Utah this summer we stopped at Mount Rushmore. We went for a hike around the mountain. It was so fun to take Parker there for the first time. After our little hike, Rory took Parker on the Alpine slide. I would have gone but I was 30 weeks pregnant so I thought I had better wait and just take pictures.

Parker's Field Trip to Walnut Grove

One of Parker's last field trips this year was to Laura Ingalls home town of Walnut Grove. Since I'm a life long fan of Little House on the Prairie I had to go with his class. We had so much fun! I can't wait to take my family out there when they come to visit :).

Hello Everyone! I am so excited to start this blog. I have been wanting to do this for along time. I want to share my life here in Minnesota with my family and friends that live elsewhere.
Let me get everyone up to date. Rory graduated from Utah State University last May. On June 21st of 2006 we were married in the Mount Timpanogos temple in American Fork, Utah. We had a wonderful honeymoon in Puerto Rico and then made the move back to Minnesota.
We have been living in Minnesota for the last 10 months. Rory has been working with his dad running the buses for the school here in town. The plan was to get Parker adjusted to the move, and other things, then I would go back to school. Well, we had to make a slight adjustment, we found out that I was pregnant! We are expecting a little boy this August! We are all so excited, we cannot wait for the new addition.
Well I hope everything is going well with everyone. I hope to keep everyone posted during the pregnancy and beyond!
Take Care.
