Christmas in Manhattan

We had a really fun Christmas in Kansas this year. We said goodbye to our childhood home and to Manhattan. My parents had a full house, their were 15 of us for about two weeks. It was so much fun, and it took me several days of going to bed early to recover from all of the late nights.
Each present Taylor opened she said, "I've been dreaming of this my whole life!"

Last year after the presents were opened Sheldon said, "I'm really grateful for all of the presents I got, maybe next year I will get a remote control airplane." For some reason Santa wasn't in a big hurry to buy a gift that could easily be slammed into the ground and destroyed by a six year old. He asked for the same gift again this year and hopefully he will get to enjoy it before gravity gets a hold of it.

Taylor Turns 4

We celebrated with cake, presents and a Trail Blazers game. Sheldon cheered loudly for the Jazz, and didn't seem to mind that he was the only one not cheering for the home team.

Happy Halloween

Preschool Pumpkin Patch

Anakin & Alice in Wonderland

We had a great Halloween and the kids got lots of candy...I guess their is one good thing about living in a neighborhood with houses close together. I tried to get Taylor to do a Star Wars Theme with Sheldon, but she wouldn't go for it.

Sheldon was a little embarrassed to have his Mom taking pictures in his classroom, Taylor didn't seem to mind.

I LOVE NY

I really fell in love with New York on this trip. I am trying to figure out how we could move there just for a little while.
We went to a Yankee/Red Sox game ...Kitt crossed it off his 'to do' list. The best part was when NY won, and the crowd stood and sang that New York song..."Start spreading the news...".
Time Square
We went to New York City for a little get away...without the kids! They really wanted to come and so hopefully we will make it back with them. I included this last picture of Flushing Meadows, it is one of my dreams to Make it to all 4 tennis Grand Slams (London, Paris, New York & Melbourne). So one day I hope to be back in August to see the US open!

Red Sox

Sheldon started baseball this spring...not T-ball as he keeps correcting me. He played 3rd base, and learned how to spit sunflower seeds in the dugout...what a difference a year makes!

Goodbye Kansas

In March we put our house on the market and moved to the Northwest. We love Kansas and we miss all of our friends and family we left behind.
