It's time to get my feelings together, to prepare myself for another gruelling year. It has been promised in the stars that this year will be harder than the last. I will hold on, I will hold out, I will triumph.
As usual, I find myself in busyasabee mode even before school starts. Commitment to CCAs, commitment to jobs, commitment to family, commitment to what I stand for.
This year, I start afresh, on a clean slate, ready for the future. This year, I take on more than I've done before. This year, I do modules meant for the upper years, commitment meant for the upper ups. With the willpower that I have in me, I will prevail.
All I'm glad of is that along the way, I've made some wonderful friends who are my source of comfort when I am down. I know exactly who to go to for counselling, I know who to lament to about the world, I know who will always be there for me.
Thank you for the fulfillment I get from all that I do.
Thank you for the people I cherish and for the friends I've yet to meet.
