Hello, Beeeeeautiful!

My Christmas present finally arrived! I know it is a little late, but the store forgot to tell me it was on back order, of course. But it has arrived! I am so excited. I have wanted a curio because of the doom that walking, rolling children will bring to my expensive and precious international collection of dolls and trinkets. Rather than putting them all away or never inviting the neighbors over, I have stuffed them all into my lovely little curio. Yay. So so so happy.

OBX!

So I used to see cars with decals that said OBX all the time out here and never knew what it referred to... for all of you who are also naive: Outer Banks! My new love. The Outer Banks is a bunch of lovely little islands off the coast of North Carolina. We went down with six other families for a week stay during spring break and had so much fun! Our house was in Nags Head and was right on the beach. The weather was cold and nasty most of the week but we had fun bumming around the house and getting out to see a few of the sights around the islands.
