3 Months

Mason has been doing a few new things lately. He has been laughing more and Chase and I just love it. A couple weeks ago he rolled from his belly to his back 3 times one morning but he won't do it again. I guess he decided that he didn't like it! It has finally stopped snowing here and it's starting to warm up and feel more like spring so I took Mason outside for the first time and went on a walk. He is getting bigger and more grown up every day. I just cleaned out his drawers and took out all his clothes that don't fit anymore, it's kind of sad!

He Did It!

A couple nights ago Mason did it...He slept through the night!! Yay!

He hasn't done it since but with a face like this...

It doesn't even matter!

Two Months Old

Another month has gone by and my handsome boy is 2 months old!

He is still a wonderful baby and so much fun! He's more aware of things and he's always looking all around taking everything in and following me around the room. He smiles all the time, I'm just not fast enough with the camera! There's always a big smile waiting for me when I get him out of his crib. He gets excited when Chase comes home and smiles when he hears daddy's voice. He's been sleeping 7 hours at night lately which is really nice!

We went to the doctor's last week for his shots. After he got the first one, he looked surprised and after a few seconds he started screaming and turned a shade of red that I've never seen before! As soon as I picked him up he was done and I was really glad that he didn't get a fever. His shirt sums him up!

He weighs 11 lbs 12 oz and he is 25 inches long. He's in the 97th percentile for height and the doctor couldn't believe it!

Mason Goes to Utah!

I took Mason home last week to visit and meet his uncles, aunts and cousins before preschool started. I was a little nervous about flying with him by myself but I should have known he would be an angel! We were pretty lucky to have an empty seat by us on the way there and 2 empty seats on the way home! We had a great time visiting and hanging out and I loved the extra sleep I got thanks to my mom!

Mason started smiling a few weeks ago and it was so fun for my family to see! No one can get him to smile like Grandma can!

Chase's family got together one night to have dinner and meet Mason. We missed Darcie and her family--they were a little under the weather!

I also got together with some good friends that I haven't seen in a long time! It was so fun to catch up with them! Funny story...Kami was due a week after me but while I was at the hospital, I got a text from Nikki telling me Kami was in labor too! We ended up having our babies on the same day, less than an hour apart!

Back to Church

After 6 weeks we made it to church today and even on time! I went partly because I was ready and partly because I was sustained to a new calling. Last week a member of the bishopric came to my house and asked me to teach primary. I was released from the best calling ever--planning a lesson/activity/treat for the nursery during Enrichment activities. Dang it!! But I will only be teaching every other week so it will be fun and I'll still get to go to Relief Society for some adult interaction.

Mason looked so handsome and grown up in his church outfit! (Just ignore the spit up on his pants.) Chase took him to class with him and rocked him in his car seat since he was pretty much awake the whole time. He only embarrassed Chase a little bit when he kept making rumbling noises in his pants. He is a very gassy baby but still a cutie!

Bath Time!

I love the smell of a lotion lathered baby after bath time! I guess Mason figured out that we're not trying to drown him because he doesn't cry at all anymore. In fact last night when we wrapped him in the towel, he smiled at us! He is so much fun!

One Month

My little man was a month old on Sunday but due to some computer and camera problems, I'm just getting to this now that he's 5 weeks old. This has honestly been the fastest month ever and it's true, time flies when you're having fun! He is still an awesome baby! He only cries when he's hungry and whines when he's tired.

Mason is getting to be more active and I love watching him play on the floor kicking his legs and waving his arms. He may not know he's doing it, but he smiles at us and it's the cutest thing ever. I'm still trying to capture a picture of it. I love this baby so much!!

I might not be able to keep taking pictures on this mat, he's almost too big for it now! This was his coming home outfit and it's getting a little snug these days.
