Random Happenings

Like always I wish I took more pictures.  We had so much fun hanging out and playing with everyone.

Tara and Chad brought their WII over and my cool mom was playing Guitar Hero with me and Mason wanted a turn.  I may have also played Donkey Kong and Super Mario too.  It's still fun!

Mason just loves his little cousin!

But whenever Dantely gets to sit on his lap then Teagan does too.

Mason and Grandpa played cars and SO MANY games.  Grandpa is a good sport!  Mason and Brinley also insisted on having Grandpa dress them, brush their teeth and lay by them until they fell asleep.  Little turkeys! They had to have their cups of ice water and stuffed snowman and everything just right.  Brinley kept coming into my bed at night so we tried having Mason and Brinley sleep together and it worked great.  They looked so cute curled up next to each other!

Cousin Pictures

All the Davis kids got together for pictures.  Not an easy task!!  Teagan wasn't too sure about sitting on anyone's lap and kept crying and running to me.  Half way through I got kicked out to the lobby and Chase had to stand right by her and move out of the picture at the last second.  Brinley was being a tough little cookie and hardly cracked a smile.  The photographer asked me if a sucker would help Teagan and she would not give it up!  They're a bunch a cute kids!

This group picture is missing Cooper.  He thought he was done so he went to the play room.  Everyone was focusing on getting my girls to smile and didn't notice.  Chad and Melissa found him laying on a bean bag with his hands behind his head watching a movie!  He is such a funny kid!

After the pictures we went to lunch with Dave, Vicky and Carsten and then took the kids back to take a nap.  My parents were so nice to watch them while Chase and I went to see The Hobbit with some of his family.

Merry Christmas!

At 7:30 I figured I needed to get the kids up so we could be ready for the fun day and I heard the pitter patter of little feet running to Grandma and Grandpa's room.  When I went up and talked to Mason he said he peeked a little and Santa didn't bring him anything!  Last night Mason really wanted to leave cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.  He also got some oats and glitter from preschool to spread on the grass so the moon would make it light up to guide the reindeer.  It was fun!  We woke up to a white Christmas too!
I'm not sure what's going on in this picture!  It appears that Santa already took a bite of the cookie but didn't give the carrots to his reindeer!?  Santa actually wrote a thank you note on the plate.

Santa came and brought something for everyone!

Pretty excited about the electric toothbrush in her stocking!

Someone won't put her candy down!

Mason has been into games so he got a bunch of fun ones!

 Brin got some princess dresses.

Teagan got a purse with accessories to put in.

 That's lipstick, sister!

 Christmas hugs!

Mason gave Chase a new blanket since he stole his other one.

Chase spoiled me with diamond earrings.

At 8:30 Tara, Chad and Dantley and Blake, Allison and Tucker came over for more presents.

We were all spoiled with lots of fun things and cute clothes!

We all went in together and got mom and dad Hale Theater season tickets, a GPS golfball finder, and golf certificates.

Then we headed over to have breakfast and presents with the Davises.  Mason kept telling everyone that asked that he got a fart gun.  He played his Minion game with Grandpa before and that was one of the operation pieces.  I have no idea why he said that though!

 The kids were spoiled again!

I remembered to get a picture this year!  I love Christmas and these people make it so fun!

We had a fun afternoon playing with toys and then went back to Vicky's for dinner.  What a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas Eve

For the Davis tradition we went bowling at 9:00 and had lots of fun!  Mason and Brinley bowled a few times but liked running around and playing games with their cousins.

 Mason had some good helpers!

The girls loved their light necklaces.

Then we went to Valley Fair and waited for Zupas to open for lunch.
After they got all their treats they were ready to watch Penguins of Madagascar.  My mom was so nice to come get Teagan so she could have a nap and we could enjoy the movie.

After the movie we ended up at Instacare because Brinley was telling us her ear hurt.  Last time she said that she had an infection so we took her to be safe even though she didn't seem sick at all.  Her ears were fine but the doctor was worried about her throat.  She swabbed Brinley and Mason but they were both negative for strep.  It was so crazy that their throats looked bad because they both said it felt fine and they had no other symptoms!

They had fun reading books with dad while they waited.

We had pizza for dinner with mom and dad.  Tara had to work and Chad was with his family.  Blake and Allison came over after dinner to visit for a little bit before Tucker's bedtime.  Mason and Brinley were excited to go to bed since they knew Santa would come!  They slept together on the guest bed upstairs.
