Dah hujung bulan

Begitu pantas masa berlalu. Hari ni dah 31 Mei 2008 dan esok dah masuk bulan baru dalam tahun 2008. Apa agaknya aktiviti waktu cuti kawan-kawan?? Keputusan peperiksaan pun belum diumumkan.

Bandar Baru Bangi tempat yang indah. Waktu cuti memberi kesempatan untuk saya berkunjung ke majlis ilmu terutamanya di Surau An-Nur dan Surau As-Sobah. Sekurang-kurangnya dapat menimba mutiara-mutiara ilmu yang dapat dijadikan modal untuk disampaikan semasa semester baru bermula.

Yang paling istimewa pada malam kelmarin saya berpeluang untuk bertemu dengan 'ustaz online' yag popular iaitu Ustaz Hasrizal Abdul Jamil @ Saiful Islam. Ini adalah pertama kali saya dapat bertemu secara bersemuka dan mendengar kuliah beliau setelah sekian lama hanya membaca buah fikiran melalui laman web.klik sini

Alhamdulillah beliau membawa bersama buku terbaru karangan beliau iaitu Aku Terima Nikahnya. Buku tersebut amat sukar untuk diperolehi di kedai buku. Menurut Saiful Islam buku tersebut masih belum diedarkan kerana kekurangan stok dan buku yang berada di tangan saya sudah memasuki cetakan yang kedua. Kesempatan membeli buku dan berjumpa dengan pengarangnya membolehkan saya untuk mendapatkan tandangan. Bukan apa sekadar tanda ingatan bahawa ianya satu pertemuan akibat minat yang sama - ILMU.

Poems

I still remember some of the sentence in this poem. If I not mistaken, I won third place during the English week by reciting this poem. This poem motivates me at that time. I share it with you guys. Check the Poem and Short Stories book that used by the form 5 students.

The experience for the past three days really teach me something. It is not easy task to be a fasilitator. Remember my previous post?-It's not easy to motivate others.

Me and my friend, Ashraf was given the responsibility to fasilitate group 27 which formed by eight form three students (6 girls and 2 boys) from SMK Tun Hussein Onn, Kluang. My first expectation was so high because I thought that secondary school students are easier to handle than the little kids. But then it was the other way around. To gain their confidence towards the fasilitator was very challenging. The interaction seems like you're doing business with machine. A question reply by a word. Fullstop!!!

Second day was better. The students starting to give positive respond. I'm questioning them regarding their personal problems plus about their study. From the feedback I've shared my experince throughout my school years. I saw some progress in them. The sharing process was successful (I think).

This programme also made me realise that I've to learn more to be excellent fasilitator. I observed that other fasilitator are more creative and have extra credit in controlling the students. Hope that this experienced can broad my knowledge in motivating peoples.

To all the students - Saiful, Soon, Tan, Nurain, Umaimah, Sayfiqa, Nursayfiqa and Nuraishah. Siapa kami?

Baktisiswa 08

It's in the mid semester holiday mood but I'm still in UTHM. Starting from today untill 11 May 2008, I will be one of the manpower of 'Baktisiswa Akademik' held in the campus. This programme's objective is to motivate school student's to improve their academic skills. Four schools will take part which are SK Tengku Mahmod 1, SK Sg Tongkang, SM Tun Hussein Onn and SM Sains Johor.

It is not easy to motivate peoples. We have to motivate ourself first.

One paper left

I cannot perform well for yasterday paper. This semester seems that something is not right. For the past 5 papers, only 2 papers that I confidence to score. Last paper will be on Friday, 2 May 08. But I believe in Allah's will. Sometimes thing that you not expected can be happened. It depend on your relationship with Allah itself.

Next semester will be more challenging (18 credit hours).

Allahu Rabbi, I leave it all to you......

Awal pagi

Selepas solat subuh pagi ini, aku termenung sebentar. Entah apa yang dimenungkan. Yang pastinya berkisar tentang minggu peperiksaan yang sedang aku harugi. Mengikut perkiraan, aku menjangkakan keputusan yang bakal diperolehi jauh dari sasaran awal. Banyak perkara yang menyebabkan ini terjadi. Sempat juga ungkapan berikut singgah di kotak fikiranku :

"alangkah baiknya jika dapat pergi ke masa lalu dan betulkan kesilapan yang dilakukan".

Boleh ke??? Tak mungkin. Hidup harus realistik. Apa kata kalau aku berfikir sebegini :

"alangkah baiknya jika masa yang akan datang aku dapat melakukan yang terbaik supaya ia menjadi masa lalu yang indah".

Masa yang telah berlalu tak dapat diundur kembali. Yang lepas telah menjadi sejarah. Sambil meneguk nescafe panas dan mendengar lagu Aku ingin pulang nyayian Ebiet G.Ade, aku cuba mengutip kembali semangat lama yang pernah aku cipta. Wajah abah, ibu dan orang-orang kesayangan terbayang silih berganti. Insyaallah harapan mereka tidak akan aku hampakan.

7.15 pagi, Jumaat, 18 Rabiulakhir 1429h

Selepas mengharungi empat kertas peperiksaan akhir, peperiksaan statistik kejuruteraan semalam adalah yang paling memeritkan. Akhirnya dapat juga aku merasa bagaimana yang dikatakan 'hilang ingatan' ketika peperiksaan. Jika selama ini aku hanya mendengar pengalaman rakan-rakan tetapi pada hari tersebut aku dapat merasainya sendiri. Siapa tahu,walaupun kita sudah cuba sedaya-upaya tetapi keputusan akhirnya bukan kita yang tentukan. Teruskan berjuang, hidup belum berakhir, masa depan belum tentu malap hanya kerana sebab tersebut. Hidup hanya bagi mereka yang tabah dan sabar. Hanya masa akan menentukan........

Usaha (dah) + doa (dah) + tawakal (dah) = kejayaan (belum tentu)

Ujian tuhan datang dalam pelbagai bentuk dan keadaan yang tidak kita jangkakan.

Final exam is just around the corner

Time flew very fast, did you guys realise that next week we will facing the final examinaton for this semester. Feel like just registered yasterday. Anyway for this semester I hope that I can maintain good pointer or better if I can increase it. Actualy it depend on the effort that you give. The more you give, the more you get. Dengan izin

Oleh kerana secara rasminya subjek Technical Writing telah berakhir, saya akan mula menulis blog ini dalam kedua-dua bahasa, Bahasa Malaysia dan Bahasa Inggeris. Ini bagi membolehkan saya untuk mengasah bakat dan mempertajamkan lagi penggunaan kedua-dua bahasa sebagai bahasa bahasa penulisan. Dengan izin ye, En Azmi Bin Abdul Latif.

and the winner is...

Today marked the end of our Technical Writing course. As Mr AAL promise, the winner of the best blog is announced. The winner : Diana. Congratulations!! Me myself really surprised when the class are told that she managed to post about 100++ posting for the past 3-4 months. Quite a lot. Really use her freetime to write.

Personally I feel very proud even "Garden of paradise" did not win. Mr AAL statement that my blog is one of the best is enough. He admit the originality of my writing, the best sentence that I heard for this day.

I like to write, express my feeling and at the same time made people think. Writing plays important role to influence people. Good writing come from knowledge that been train by reading. As I mentioned before I enjoy reading Faisal Tehrani's books. Maybe some of his writing skills are copied by me in order to train myself to be a good writer.

At this moment, I'm reading his novel, 1511H(Kombat) which won the Hadiah Sastera Kumpulan Utusan 2003.(Kekasih Sam Po Bo and Bila Tuhan Berbicara still in the wrap). Still left another four chapter till the end.

Manifesto

After the presentation on 30 March at Pusat Ilmu, Mr Azmi said that on this Thursday he will announce the winner of the best blog. I wonder who will win it and at the same time I'm wondering what will I do with the money if I win?

RM 50....Hmmmm, quite a lot.
The best thing that came to my mind is to spend the money by buying something that can be shared by the whole class. Ice-cream@sweets@breakfast. Simple calculation-31 students + Mr AAL = 32. RM50/32=RM1.60. So everyone will get something that worth about RM1.60. What do you think Mr AAL? This is my promise IF you give me the money.
But most important, friendship can't be bought. It is priceless.

Ahhh......

For quite some time I'm not writing. Assignments, examination and university prorammes made me busy. That's how student's life should be. Have you ever heard about the name Faisal Tehrani? Who bother to know. He is not a politician, not an actor nor an athlete. But he is one of my favourite author in novel and short stories genres. He have wrote many novels and win a lot of awards locally and internationally. His writings is not focusing on some issues like other writers. People may think about love stories when we say about Ahadiat Akasha or Ramlee Awang Mursyid-thriller genres. Faisal Tehrani has some virtual and forward thinking when he write. He also managed to recreate current issues that happened around us into a nice stories.

His latest book that I bought was 'Kekasih Sam Po Bo' which is a collection of thirty Faisal Tehrani's short stories (cerpen) and another one is 'Bila Tuhan Berbicara'. Clear idea, nice plots and some jokes really freshen your mind. It made you think, not only read. So I suggest for those who want to improve their language, these books are great references. I do enjoy reading them.

How to fail exam

One of my favourite blogspot is the isuhangat blogspot. It combines all types of articles ; jokes, advices, current news, critics and other. This time I found some funny pictures that I'm sure can made you laugh. Hope this thing not happened to 3 BFC students, if so they must have seen this.

Fantastic weekend

This weekend is so special. I was asked by harun (acting team manager) to represent his futsal team, Wembley A We are playing the Piala Pengetua Tun Syed Nasir tournament. My position? The position most of us hate to be : the goalkeeper.....

At the group stage, we managed to win one game and lost one but that is enough to bring us to the round of 16. But then we are disapointed by the Fifa Manager Team by 2 -1. Who do you think to be blame for the loses. Me? No.. Actually nobody. All the member played very hard but luck was not at our side.

Like old people say : bola itu bulat.

Malaysia Robot Manufacturer

KUALA LUMPUR, 20 Feb (MtR)-A group of mechanical scientist make Malaysia proud as they managed to invent a group of robot by using our own vehicle which is the Proton and Perodua. This robot can operated themselvs without control by anybody.

In the launching ceremony at one of the famous hotel here, the lead researcher said that this robots will be the powerfull armour if this country is attacked by enemy. "They will lead the army at the frontlines" he added. The cost involved to build all the autobot so called team are up 400 million.

"Citizen of Malaysia should be proud with this invention. This shown that Malaysian people have the first class mentality. Nothing is imposible to Malaysian now", PM said.

Like usual, my test yasterday didn't going well as I imagine. Eventhough all the lecture notes I have been gone through but then all the important point are erased from my memory. After a moment of depression I think that is normal, this will be the part of the memory as an university student.
