Our little bookworm

Thomas absolutely LOVES his books.  You will see him carrying at least one book all of the time.  When we do have to take a book away (i.e. bath time, eating) it is a struggle.  Any chance he gets, he will sit in our laps and have us read.  He will also hand books to us to read to him.  I am telling you, this child doesn't even play with his toys, just books.  Thanks to his love for books he has learned to point to many objects, he will say what some of the things are in the book, he will make the sounds of the book and he has learned lots of new words.  This little man is smart!

When he was about 1 years old we signed him up for a program at the library called 1000 books before kindergarten and he is already at 500.  Makes it easy when that's all he wants to do.  So on a typical day his books end up scattered ALL over the house.  We think he is going to ask Santa for more books and then we will donate some of his older ones.  :-)

Toy box, slides and buckets

Thomas loves to get in his toy box, empty or not

Silly boy.  It's really funny when he pushes his golf bag around while wearing the bucket :-)

Halloween #2

Randy's very first pumpkin carving
We think he did a fantastic job!
Thomas as a cowboy for Halloween.  We didn't make it out trick or treating because he wasn't feeling well, but I had to at least dress him up the next day.  Isn't our little cowboy a cutie?

21 Weeks!

I can't believe that we are less than halfway there to another little blessing!  In about 4 months we will have another sweet baby boy.  Wow, time flies when you are chasing a toddler.  :-)  We are glad too because we are excited to meet this little man.

Thomas thinks my belly is funny.  He pulls up my shirt and points to it (even if I am wearing a dress).  Sometimes I will chase him around the house and he just runs around laughing.  He also gives my belly a hug and kiss.  Randy says "daddy won't even do that".  Ha Ha

Chicken!

This has to be my favorite word so far!

P.S. We normally don't have the tv on, especially while he is eating, but it was the Redskins game.  :-)

Digging for gold

How can you not love this kid to pieces?
