(: Chris bought me 2 hamsters for my very belated Christmas present :/ One's winter white, another's a hybrid of winter white and yellow pudding, bt I honestly dont see a difference. 2 wks old, tiny and super adorable! ^^ They're still very, very shy, forever running away from me ): Bt it's alright, I dote on them a lot (hope it's nt just a temporary thing) and one day I shall be able to tame them!! Hahaha. Wanted to share a vid of them, bt it's too big to be shared and I still couldnt find a way to flip the vid cos the orientation's 90degrees off ):

Anddddd, I've gt my first pay! It isnt a lot bt it's supposed to last me through the month!! Ahhhhhhh. And my dad's more anxious than me to bank the cheque. O:

Hmm this CNY is just the same as the previous ones, nth special. Woke up, visited the same few houses, rot eat play rot eat play take angpao home. Kind of a routine.

Feeling especially old this yr, seeing my nieces and nephews (my cousins' kids) and even my younger cousins grow up into better looking matured individuals. Gosh, I'm gonna be 19 yrs old soooo soon. It sounds like quite an old number :/ Looking at those blissful and natural smiles on those toddlers reminded me of hw carefree life used to be :')

Looking on the other side, the aged. It's quite scary, seeing my ahma age as the yr passes, her memory's worsening exponentially, her body's weakening... And my uncle, who's suffering from short term memory, he asked who I was and if I was my brother's daughter. It's silently painful to see hw they changed, hw child-like they can actually be nw, and it inevitably made me wonder hw would I be like when I grow older, or when some unfortunate happenings happen to us, who'll be thr for me, standing by me and taking care of me despite the tons of burden I would bring to them. It's actually scary to think about it.

Ageing is scary. A quarter of my life has passed. And perhaps tt's the sweetest, happiest quarter I'd ever have. Feeling rather emotional somehow, with tears uncontrollably rolling down my cheeks ): Shall head to slp nw and nt think bout ageing anymore ):

I swear I'll never get gel manicure again! It's such a pain! ):

I decided to wash off my manicure cos it's quite ugly with my new nails growing, as quarter of my nails werent painted. Bitch, all the nail salons raised their manicure prices, washing off my manicure required $34.90. Frigging expensive, daylight robbery wth I was soooooo frustrated. And in the end I bought my own gel nail polish remover for $13.68 and spent hours soaking my nails in it to completely remove the colour. Frigging pissed off the whole process was insane. Shall just get normal manicure next time! ):

Hiiii. This is my 700th post, all I wanna say is I'm on my way to work nw and I'm feeling very, very, very lethargic ):

First day of work! I dont think thr's anywhere more slack than my workplace!!

I rushhhhhed to work early in the morning, cursing and swearing on my way due to the stupid jams cos they told me tt they start work at 7.45am. Was feeling relieved tt I was early until I arrived at the place to see only 2 men. Felt so out of place. Awkward... "Err, okay, 7.45am right?" They nodded. It was frigggging hot outside the office partly cos I kinda brisk walked thr, bt mainly cos thr was absolutely NO ventilation outside it was horrible~

The auntie came at ard 7.50am and opened the door for us. They taught me to staple the invoices and stuff... And I realised tt ppl started entering the work place at 8am+. I spoke to a colleague, she told me they actually dont care if they're late. Cheyyyyyyy. Hahaha. Ya and I did packing, checking the stocks, data entry... All the brainless work.

Met up with Xuemiao for lunch. I've gt 2 hrs of lunch break! Hw awesome right! Hahaha I actually spent $2 on transport for a $4 duck rice oh gosh. I hate adult fare. Hahaha and XM was complaining about his Cheenattm boss wooh bt at least she survived hahaha.

Back to the work place, did data entry, filing, mapping, packing (again), sorting out invoices... Time flew pretty fast at work!

5pm, almost everyone was gone. I thought they told me 5.45pm... It turned out tt they could leave at 5pm once they complete their tasks. Wth damn slack. So u go to work late and leave early. U have 2 hrs of break in between, and u get paid monthly. What a deal! No wonder the initial pay they offered me was so low.

I'm gonna drag Dawn to work and lepak with me~ I hope I'll succeed 8-)

AND. My internet connection sucks I have to depend on my phone's hotspot nw. I cant even connect to my bro's modem. Ass.

AND AND. Whyyyy do all gd job offers start coming in when I found one ):

Hi! So after 2 weeks of job hunting, spending $32386524 on transport fare and stuff, Xinyi is employed! Hahaha. To the second company tt I applied for =.=lll So I actually went one big round of job hunting to settle down on something that I interviewed for right at the start.

Okay before I explain why did I end up with tt job, I shall share about my Black Friday. It actually isnt that bad~

I've gt no idea why I received so damn many calls tdy. Maybe cos I gt too despo I spammed too many job applications these days. Maybe cos the employers gt too enthu tdy and all decide to respond to my applications tdy. I was supposed to go for only 1 interview tdy, bt I ended up visiting 4 places :/

I received a call at ard 1110am tdy telling me tt they're from some idk what thing I thought I heard "tuition" and they told me the pay was $1450 per month my eyes lit up immediately I was so shocked, wth u serious tt's a frigging gd deal. And I asked if I needed an interview and fixed a time at 1230pm cos I've alr fixed other interviews later in the day.

So I kinda rushed like mad to get out of my house, and while changing this agent from some agency (it shall be kept private) called me and bargained with me bout some job offer which pays $6.50 per hr and she kept bargaining and bargaining despite my umpteen rejection I was kinda pissed I so wanted to hang up on her bt I decided nt to and she talked for like 15mins or so and finally ended the call. And to my horror it was alr 1145am I'm nt done with changing my clothes and bag and tying my hair I. Felt. So. Doomed. What if the $1450 deal doesnt want me anymore cos I've created a frigging bad first impression for being late for my interview. So I rushed and rushed and was ready to leave my house and to my horror again I could nt find my keys!! I was like "Omg shit how how how I cant leave my house like tt should I forgo my $1450 deal omggggggggg" I couldnt find the spare house keys and I was seriously panicking like mad I ran up and down my house I rummaged through my room many many times I took out all the contents of my bags bt I still couldnt find my bloody keys I was panic struck. And guess what, I opened the door and realised tt the gate wasnt locked so I could actually leave the house without the keys. I told my dad tt bout it and he told me to just lock the gate and dont lock the door so ya I did tt. Bt still, I was late it was alr 1205pm bloody hell~

I gt down to the bus stop and thankfully saw a cab, ran across the road and flagged it. "Uncle, (address)" And he told me he dk hw to get thr (jaw drops). Okay nvm I've gt my phone which has GPS and I told him I could check the route for him. Bloody hell the GPS lag time + my human reaction lag time + my phail map reading skills = gg.com. I had the uncle driving me round and round, u-turning here and thr before I finally reached my destination. The supposedly 10-15min cab ride appeared to be $10+ on the meter and I was still late in the end. Awesome. Bt the uncle was kind enough to give me a nearly half price discount and charged me $6 instead, aww! (:

I was boiling inside when I realised tt I've arrived at the same exact place as I was 1 wk ago, the job which I rejected. I was like "Wth, TUITION?! Here? I thought I rejected it?!" I opened the door, stared at my interviewer and spoke in a rather polite voice, calming myself down "Err, I thought I came here before?" She asked me to sit down first as she was attending to a customer. I sat, cursing and swearing in my mind, and aft tt it all came clear. Okay it wasnt tuition, it was nutrition, nutritionpark.com. And tt person called and asked if I would accept a higher pay cos I told them tt their pay was too little. $1450, sound like a lot right, bt I had to work every day except for Fridays, which was pretty turn off for me at the moment. I told them I would think about it, bt they asked me to confirm with them by tmr morning.

My next interview was to Canon Singapore, yes, the one tt produces damn gd camera! :D I was jumping for joy when I received their call for interview I was sooooooo excited for it! I took a direct bus down and reached thr early (yay) to realise tt I forgot to print and sign the application form =.=lll Thankfully they had it thr and I filled it in on the spot. Haha. I thought the interview was pretty okay, the environment was quite likable bt the only thing was tt it was a little too far and I have sth against office wear cos I will have to buy them :/

Headed down to Orchard for my next 2 interviews, I actually feel lazy to elaborate on them bt I didnt like both job offers so ya, it was down between nutritionpark.com and Canon. I asked nutritionpark.com if I can work for only 5 days, so they offered a pay which is exactly the same as Canon, bt my off days are Wed and Sat, which I thought was even btr than Sat and Sun cos they're more spread out. So one's more convenient and I dont have to worry bout the attire cos they'll be providing me with the top and I'll just have to wear jeans, another's a company which I really really like. One could employ me immediately if I accept it by tmr morning, another may nt accept me and could only confirm with me on Monday. So, in the end I decided on the one tt's more convenient... I wonder if tt's the right choice :/

The year's so far so good! Except for the fact tt I'm still sadly and desperately unemployed ):

Job hunt! First to Raffles Place for some freelance recruitment coordinator. I didnt know what tt means I think I just blindly clicked on the "apply" button and it turned out tt I'm supposed to introduce ppl who're 21 yrs old and above to work with Prudential. So as a 18 yrs old, it's quite a tough and unsuitable job so it's a definitely no no for me.

Met up with Chris for lunch and made him accompany me to nutritionpark.com for interview. It's at Hillview, one of the factories. Weiyue has been thr before n said the building was scary so I pulled him along lolol. Thr was an IQ test and memory test before the actual interview which I thought were quite fun! And I screwed my Excel test badly ): Lol. The working hrs were so demanding (6 days a wk, office hrs, only off on Thursdays) and the pay's only $1250/mth for starters ): Boohoo.

Met up with Mingcong and Weinan (again)! Haha lunched in NP cos of their cheap food (hehe). Ate some Jap food which was quite popular thr, bt I thought it wasnt tt nice actually :/ Headed to Bukit Timah Shopping Centre for LAN, L4D2 is so damn fun hahaha love it!! Went home aft tt cos Mingcong had to go for his dental appointment ):

2 more interviews in the morning. First was with NUS LKY School of Public Policies, omg the sch was so big I lost my way thr :/ Apart from tt I really liked the environment and the ppl thr, really hope tt I'll get selected bt I havent receive any call yet, anxious me ):

Met up with another agent at Orchard, I thought it was a waste of time brr shouldnt elaborate on it ):

Lunched with Dawn, Qianling and Weiyue in Lot 1! (: Played Badminton after tt. Hahahaha rusty us, felt so tired aft 45mins of our best sports. Oh no. Bt really enjoyed the session, a workout after eons of nua-ing. Bathed thr, we were like some mad woman screaming away cos of the cold water lolol.

Watched the movie "Legend of the Guardians" in 3D at Dawn's house, the graphics were amazing, bt I fell aslp cos the sofa was too comfy to lie on ops hahahahaha!! Aye, I woke up early in the morning for interviews, so I shall be excused hahaha!

Dinnered at The Tea Party Cafe in Sixth Avenue. Gd food, gd ambience I shouldve known bout this place earlier! Though the food choices were kinda limited, the place provides a really cozy environment with some board games! (:

I saw Chris, again. It's a coincidence tt we had interviews with our agents at the same time and place. Omg. Anw my agent from this agency is really friendly and approachable, so much btr than the previous one. I like! (: Hehe. He offered a job tt's $9 per hr, which was insane, bt I'm still thinking bout it cos it's rather far and it's quite a sad job... Lol. Customer service :/

We went to LAN aft tt. Wanted to play pool initially, bt the pool place wasnt open even 20mins aft it's supposed opening hr. Played L4D2 again, I think I'm frigging addicted to it omggggggg even a 2 person game could be fun to me :/

Disturbed Xuemiao at her house before heading to team dinner cos going home would be too inconvenient for me. Haha ate noodles, chatted and introduced some of my new friends to her by showing her their pics on Facebook haha. A bit of stalking? Lol.

Team dinnerrrrrr!! With the AC team. Haha. Peperoni Pizzaria in Binjai Park! Had a hard time locating the place, and we didnt know tt thr're actually 2 outlets of the restaurant along Bukit Timah. Confusing shiatz. The food was gd, bt we thought tt it's gonna be expensive so we didnt order too much. It turned out tt we only had to pay $7.70 each, bt we couldnt order anymore cos the stupid waitress was chasing us away cos our booking time was over. What poor attitude.

Walked to KAP and settled down in Spinelli for chats. Hehe.

That's basically all for the week(days)! Adult fare's a bitch. I've invested $30 in my EZ-link for this wk alr. Idiot. I HATE ADULT FARE I HATE IT SOOOOOO MUCH ): It's an asshole! And it made me walk home from CCK MRT tdy. Bt Peishan accompanied me. Heheeeeee! (: (: By utilising my bus 11 more, I'll soon get a pair of slimmer, prettier legs! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
