Cassie's 8th Bithday

My baby turned 8 on November 6th. I did shed a tear when she blew out her candles.
We had alot of family and friends over. Cassie had a few of her little friends over and everyone had a great evening!

Halloween~

My Little Hulk ( This was Tyrel's old costume)

She got to BOSS me around for 1 evening...LOL!
The right pumpkin for Cassie

Trace loved this little one!

Halloween was fun this year. Cassie was a Royal Queen and Trace was a Motercross rider & The Incredible Hulk. Both looked very adorable! The kids had a great time going to the pumpkin patch this year also. Picking out the right pumpkin in the rain is always a fun thing to do...LOL!

BIG changes for the Chandler family

The kids were so excited the day we brought the truck home.

Our family brand turned out nice

Trav drew up how he wanted his name to look and did a very nice job. The fella that did the vinyl lettering also did a wonderful job.

Trav & his dream come true.

Wow oh wow have we did a big life change. I'll start from the beginning.....LOL! Trav and i had been thinking allot about our future in the last few months and well I guess you could say we did something about it.
We decided that working for someone else was only bettering them and NOT us. The ranch job was a great one believe me. We were just not heading anywhere in it. We did allot of thinking and laying out numbers in our heads. Well what we came up with was a business of our own called HR BAR Trucking. We have left our ranch job and bought a semi truck. We do not have a trailer yet but that is down the road. What we will do is this.
Travis will haul cattle for Dennis Burger out of Missoula Montana hauling his trailer ( Cattle Trailer). We have moved from the ranch and are now living only six mile down the road from where we were before. A nice big house that sits on 5.24 acres that we are hoping in the next year to buy. We would like to get the truck payed off then work on a mortgage. Don't want to get to ahead of ourselves just yet.
Like i said Travis will be hauling cattle and will be doing the fall run and spring runs. In the off season he will use a flatbed trailer and haul hay for the local farmers here where we live. When he is hauling cattle he will be gone for 3 weeks at a time. Sacrifice we have to make to get to where we are going. I will sure hate being without him and it will be hard but i know i can do it.
He leaves to start the trucking Sunday i believe. It will be scary as i know anyone that starts there own business has been. We are thinking positive of course and pray everyday it will be right for us. Please everyone pray for my husband's safety out on the long road.

Chicken Poor

Well i no longer consider us in the ranch business but rather the CHICKEN business...LOL! I went from owning 7 chicken with 3 of those being roosters to 38 chickens. Early this spring i was a little low on hens so Cassie and i went and bought 15 more hens. Well 11 lived. making a total of 18. Well i was thinking that was a good little flock for our family In tell 1 of the original 7 decided she wanted to set. I was Stoked!!!! I love babies...LOL! Well she ended up hatching 13. By the time that was all over we ended up with 7 new babies. Chickens are chickens after all...Who knows why they die the way they do Anyway so now we are up too 25. Well lets not forget about another one of the original 7 hens that decided SHE ALSO wanted to set....LORDY LORDY! She ended up hatching 14. All are still alive and doing great after 3 days. So we now have a total of 38 chickens. I'm sure there are a few roosters in there but we will handle that later and stick them in the stew pot. For now i am totally loving ALLLL these cute baby's that i have running around. The hens that i did buy are actually laying already which is totally awesome.....ALL that good feed i feed em i suppose. My chickens are really spoiled! Here is some photos of the new babies and others.

The NEW baby's....YEAH!!!
She is a VERY protective Mother....But still lets me play with her. Hee Hee!

From the chickens i bought....there laying already!!! Yeah!

A few that were couping up, The rest were still playing outside.

My Banny Rooster

My LARGE rooster.....He is so Beautiful! His back feathers that are white used to be dark green...Age catching up to him i guess.

No Fun Being Sick

It started w/ Trace and has so far ended with Cassie. Hoping and praying that dad and i don't get it. Trace came down w/ a 102 temp yesterday morning and threw the night did fine. Cassie on the other hand got her fever yesterday evening and was up threw the night. I ended up putting her in a cool bath, iced her head and gave her Motrin and a hour in a half later she was doing a little better. They both were still running low grade fevers this morning. I'm still doing Motrin and am thinking it was probably a 24 hour bug....Crossing my fingers that daddy and i don't get it! Pray for us!

Campin' Buddies

So, a few years ago i started a camp in the front yard thing with just Cassie and I. She really looks forward to it every year. We have a blast together and try our hardest to find a shooting star. Never fails we always see one. I love the alone time i get to spend with her. The questions she asks are always so interesting. From one thing to another. I am usually awake most of the night because she is so sprawled out that i have just a sliver of the bed...LOL! It's great fun for us.

Pool Fun

Well today was a GREAT day for the kids and i. Cassie was invited to a birthday party at the city pool. I decided beings the weather was HOT that Trace and i would go as well. The mother of the boy that was having the birthday was very excited we decided to stay......More eyes on kids at the pool party....LOL! I wish i had pictures of the kids but of course as you can imagine a camera in water.....Well need i say more.
Trace, we know now is our little FISH. Imagine if you can a 3 year old sliding off the adult slide having a blast. Not scared at all and wanting to go over and over again. Of course he was wearing a life jacket and i was catching him at the bottom. Life guards were in just awe of him. They were having just as much fun with him as i was. It was so cute.
Cassie had a blast as well. It was great for her to be able to spend some fun time with all the other future 2ND graders that will most likely share her class next month. Not to mention playing with classmates she has not seen all summer. She is going to be a popular little girl. I can see this now. I felt so proud when i seen her go over to a little boy that DID NOT have a life jacket on and and help him in the water. Here is a girl that is just learning to swim but, was saving another kid. She made sure he got out of the water OK and even helped him find is parents that did not know of what had just happened. I was a very proud mother. She has such a BIG and Loving heart.
For myself.......I don't think i had been in a public pool since i was a little girl. It was a fun time. Water was nasty if it happened to get in your mouth witch you know is always gonna happen. All in all It was a fabulous day with my kids and our friends. Summer is a great time to spend with friends!!!

Into to Our family

Well this is my 1st attempt at blogging. We will see if i can keep up with it. I will try for the sake of family & friends that we don't get to visit and keep up with on a regular basis. I have been asked over and over again to start a blog. So for all that have asked this is for you....LOL!

I guess i will start with a family photo. My favorite would have to be this one. It got Trav Smiling and we all looked descent...LOL! It is a little older but heck we have not changed all that much sense then.
Cassie is 7 now and is such a pretty little girl. She just finished coach pitch baseball and loved every minute of it. She can't wait tell next year. She will be like her daddy I'm sure of it!!We have been working with her on swimming and she is also taking off real well with that. She is very excited about going back to school but says the only thing she will hate is getting up at 5:45 Am every morning again. I can't say i blame her there. It will be some getting use too again.

Trace is now 3. He is all over the place it seems. He talks extremely well for a 3 year old. His main love is anything that is BIG with BIG tires that we all call a Tractor....LOL! He calls a green tractor of coarse a John Deere but when it comes to a CAT tractor it is always referred too as a "HAW HAW". What it means to him....we don't know. But he only says it when he sees a yellow tractor...It is very cute. He loves his big sissy so much. They are both very close and are never apart. He will be alittle tough on Trace when Cassie does go back to school.

Well, i will try and post at least 1 time a week to keep you up on our family. We love you all and look forward to letting you all in alittle more on our Ranchin' About Life. Toodles!
