Weekly Post

The kids had school until Wednesday, so the celebrating didn't start until then.

We finished up our Advent celebration in anticipation of Christmas.

Oliver had a BIG week.  He got neutered :(  I was hoping it would calm him down a bit, but it didn't...he is still as crazy as ever.  But he did nap really good while the anesthesia was wearing off.

Liv and I went to the Nutcracker.  I thought it was great, but she was a little bored.

We celebrated Christmas Eve with a Bethlehem Dinner. 

We tried to eat food back from the time period of Jesus's birth.

Santa found us Friday morning and was very good to the kids.  

We watched lots of movies and played games, including our new Pie Face game.

We also had several fun rounds of dictionary.

We had a nice Christmas Day Dinner, with Christmas Crackers!

We had ham, funeral potatoes, roasted asparagus, rainbow jello and blue cheese, pomegranate and pear salad.  With a fun cranberry raspberry drink.

We cleaned the church building.

Weekly Post

Monday I took the boys back to the Orthodontist.  Cole promised me he won't break his expander anymore (we are on number 3), so we are trying it again.  

Cole and Ethan really enjoy the video games in the waiting room.

I had tennis lessons on Tuesday and then a fun lunch with my friend. Wednesday I went to an ornament party with a fun group of ladies.

Wednesday night we went caroling for young women's, and Liv got to have a fun PJ party for Activity Days.

Cole had a band concert in school.  He is the one in the blue santa hat.

I took Ethan out of school Thursday morning to do go the dentist.  He had a cavity!  

We went out for smoothies after.  

He is pouting in the picture because he said it hurt and he was not happy to be at the dentist.

 I had to snap this second picture to show Ethan in SHORTS, in December, in 30 degree weather.  He insists he is warm, but I'm not so sure about that :)

Liv has been working with her class all week long to collect food items for a sub for santa.

Cole also participated in a sub for santa with his school class.

We had the missionaries over for dinner Friday night.

Cole had his first basketball game on Saturday.  He had a lot of fun, even scored a few points!

Cole is very quick and had a couple steals and quick breakaways.

 Ethan got to help run the scoreboards!

Victory!!  He was happy after their big win.

Today we had a nice Christmas Sacrament meeting.  The kids sang and I had to talk.  Looking forward to the fun Christmas week ahead of us!

Weekly Post

The weather has been wonderful this past week, mostly in the 50s and 60s.

Tuesday night Shawn and I accompanied Liv to a gymnastics celebration at the Organ Piper Pizza.

Wednesday we had a youth family history night at church.  Ethan and I spent time indexing.  You can tell Ethan is having a blast :)  He is the one with his head down on the table!

Friday night we took the kids to the Holiday Light Festival.  

Ethan started futsal this week.  He also signed up for ski club at school!

Cole and I had a hot chocolate/cookie date :)

Shawn and I had an actual real date!

I mailed out all the Christmas cards!!
