These is My Words: the Diary of Sarah Prine 1881-1901

This is a fictional story based on some true events of Sarah's life in the Arizona Territories. I enjoyed this book and could relate to the main character well. I gained a HUGE appreciation of the modern day conveniences we have today (specifically when it comes to child birth). Left TO Tell by Immaculee Ilibagiza

This is a true story of Immaculee during the Rwandan Genocide of 1994. She teaches us how to embrace the power of prayer and discover the importance of forgiveness. She is truly inspiring and I loved hearing her story.

The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom
Another true story which is truly inspirational. Another great example of forgiveness. I can't imagin having the same strength that this woman had during the occupation of Holland and further on in prison. These last two books are absolute must reads and leave the reader TRULY INSPIRED and a better person.

Trying to Pass by the TIME

Although slowing down some, We have been trying to stay busy to pass time by. Getting a little anxious with 26 days to delivery.

Spent a weekend with our friends, the Schmidts, in San Clemente and went to my cousin's wedding open house (pic below).

We saw Timmy Curran play in Newbury Park, K fell asleep halfway through her In-n-Out burger.
We've spent a lot of time with Grandma and Grandpa Roberts at the "ROCK" concert-in-the-park in Oak Park (where Ryan grew up). They had a fun water area to play in and luckily we had just bought our new baby a swim suit sized 18-24m and Kennedee just happened to fit in it, so she was able to play in the water without getting her clothes wet.
We also spent the 4th of July down in Irvine/Laguna Beach with the Roberts and had a great time.
My friend threw me a cute baby shower and I totally forgot to bring in my camera. We'd played some fun games (minute-to-win-it style) and I failed miserably. We took K to a class at the hospital called "Siblings are Special" and we have mostly finished decorating the nursery. You can see the nursery pics at http://www.ashleysdiy.blogspot.com/.
