End of School and The Start of Summer Fun

A lot has happened since I last posted.

KayBree had a Spring Program the middle of last month. This is the song that she had been practicing to sing me. She was pretty serious the whole concert, maybe she thought she is too old to do the actions to the songs, but since this was a special song she went all out for me.

We also enrolled her in a Charter school not too far from us. I am really excited, yet extremely nervous for her first month. The teachers said that it would be the hardest for her because she will be trying to get caught up, especially since she didn't learn anything in kindergarten, and my due date is the first week of school so life should be interesting. I have watched the first and second grades there and was completely impressed with the schools style of teaching, it's completely positive which is what KayBree needs. I also took a parents course offered by the Charter school, so that I would be able to help her more at home.

She also started Tee ball last week, I will post pictures soon. Her first day she went there and said that she was bad at sports so she shouldn't be playing, then she actually played and loves it now. She is also starting swim lessons at the Sports Academy tomorrow, she is so excited since the last time she had swim lessons was when she was in preschool there.

May 21st Daimen graduated from preschool. They sang all the songs they had learned and I was really impressed that he knew so much. When he's home and I ask him what he learned he says "nothing." Little stinker! He handed out his Birthday invitations to his friends and his "girlfriend" and then they ate cupcakes. My mom was able to come up, and Daimen was really excited to have her there. Then we went out to lunch, Daimens pick, at the Pancake store (a.k.a IHOP).
Daimen is also signed up for Swim lessons.
He is such a little fish and loves anything to do with the water.
We cant believe that he will be 4 in a little over a week. Time sure does fly. He helped me plan his birthday party. We are going to get out our 10 foot by 50+ foot slip n' slide and put it down the hill behind our house, Grandpa is going to bring up his huge blow up jump house, and Daimen wants to have hamburgers, hot dogs, and watermelon. It should be fun, hopefully Logan weather will be better than it has been this week.
