Meredith's YW Recognition

Meredith received her Young Woman Recognition on sunday. We are very proud of her, she has worked hard to finish all the projects. She had an incredible day. She also received her Patriarchal Blessing. It was an amazing blessing. She is a special daughter. Her YW Pres makes awesome cakes and I wanted to share with you the cake she made her and the one other girl that finished her Personal Progress. The picture doesn't do it justice. It was beautiful.

Our Last party

I have decided that raising kids is very bitter sweet. You struggle through the baby and toddler years and just when they become so much fun and you love having them around........they leave! So it seems that every milestone is affecting me. This time it is the last class party I will ever do. I have been my kids' homeroom mom ever since Megan was in kindergarten. Claire is now in 4th grade and their Valentines Party is the last one they have. Next year she will go to the Intermediate School and they DONT have parties there. What ever happened to elementary lasting til 6th grade? Well, the party was a big success mostly do to the entertainment I had come over from the high school. The pictures tell the story. When Meredith and her friend walked in the boys immediately began buzzing and smiling and laughing. Then when they heard they were going to perform "Stupid Cupid" and deliver singing valentines from the girls, they were in shock. I made petit fours and the felt fortune cookies and had some moms bring some awesome treats. I think the pictures tell the story very well. Hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day. I know I did!
