Beautiful clay pots!

I have to say that one of my obsessions are clay pots. Or really pots of any kind. There's just something about them that intrigue me and make me want to give a plant a home in something beautiful. Today I ventured into a store in Amarillo called Pete's Greenhouse. I've been dying to see what they had. Well, spring is officially here and it was time to explore this place. Its a beautiful building full of outdoor decor and pots, pots, pots. All shapes, sizes, colors and cost! I picked two of which I fell in love with. Then I went out to the nursery.....oh it was chuck full of everything you could ever imagine. Flowers and plants of every kind and color. I headed directly to the herb section trying to keep focused. I had to give two herbs a home in my new pots. And I'm dying for fresh herbs. Hope your spring is turning out as fun as mine!

Making life easier!

I try daily to find things that make life easier. Especially when a lot of your things are still packed in a storage unit. Shelby and I bought a sirloin at Sams and had it cut into steaks. YUM YUM Well, we don't have our vacuum sealer (because it is still packed) so I went and bought a Ziploc sealing system. To my amazement it worked wonderful. And the best part is its under $4.00. I am so excited I might start sealing a lot more things! Hooray for things that make life easier and are CHEAP!

Happy Easter!

I think that Claires face sums up our Easter. It was great! We had a wonderful day of church, easter egg dying and sugar cookie making. We fed the Elders Easter dinner and had some of the older kids friends over. They were even kind enough to hide the eggs so Claire could have a hunt(even though they ate most of the hard boiled eggs before she could hunt them). Then we got to sit down as a family and read all about Christs life. What an amazing way to feel the spirit! Hope yours was a blessed day and you had the chance to reflect on Christ and his sacrifices.

A friend of mine sent me a picture of her baby and in one of the pics I saw this necklace. I went to Etsy and found it. There are lots of different ones. They are absolutely GORGEOUS. They have to be one of my FAVORITE things!
