CHALLENGE 100 APRIL SHOWERS

Many thanks to Ujjwal for her lovely challenge last week - you can see the entries on the sampler as usual.
Now onto this week - well as you can see this is CHALLENGE 100 - wow, I never thought for a minute I would be still doing this at number100 - it is all thanks to you for your love and support.
I have another lovely Guest Designer this week - Faye has supported me right from the start - I am sure never missing a week so here is her challenge to you and what she has to say:-

'I started blogging about 4 years ago. While checking out one of the artists' blogs on a Yahoo artists' group, I saw the challenges for the first time and got interested in doing them myself. Most of my work is uncomplicated. My start in art began as a child who loved to draw. I took commercial art in high school and a couple of art courses in college. A good friend taught me how to oil paint. Only late in life did I pick up watercolors. And mixed media is something I have begun to try in the last couple of years. I may go back to oil painting some day, but at the moment I'm having such fun trying all these different media.
This is taken from a photo of one of my oil paintings. The subject is Stephanie, a saucy little girl that I tutored years ago. She was just the type child to enjoy splashing in puddles. I took a copy of the painting, stamped it with a raindrops stamp by Rubber Stampede, and then added "raindrops" of Inkssential's Glossy Accents. (Of course, they don't show in the photo very well.) I would challenge bloggers to make their own creations depicting April Showers. And as an extra, they could add some kind of shiny stuff. (I love bling!)

CHALLENGE 99 TREES

Again a huge thank you for your entries last week - as always you can see some of them on the sampler on the favourites blog.
I like, if possible, to give new crafters a chance to show their work and inspiration so this week I have a lovely new GD from Pune in India - Ujjwal is her name and here is what she has to say (how strange that when we lived in New Zealand we lived in a small village called Puni !!):-
' Hi...I am Ujjwal and have been drawing and crafting since I was a small kid but it wasn't until I discovered the world of blogging two months back that I realized I should take it up seriously. I basically make cards and feel immense joy looking at the smiling faces when you give someone a handmade card. The personal touch and thought that it adds is it's true advantage. I hope to continue making people smile and inspire in the future to come.
I have set up the theme as "Tree" for this week's challenge.
Interpret it as you like and have fun!!'

Do please pop over to Ujjwal's blog and see some more of her work
her blog  address is
