24th bday!

End of MBBS!

Yippee! It finally ended! I tot this whole exam thingy will never end!!
Felt so odd gg to Orchard w Zub n Nad tht day cuz it's like eons since we went! Love the carefree feeling! Tot I wld never be able to feel this way again.. since yr5 started, it has been a hell of a time.. mugging, gg to hosp early n leaving super late at nite cuz u wanna see all the patients=( Now awaiting the exam results is quite a killer. The whole 3 wks to 4 wks has been a rollercoaster ride i tell ya. It's like smt u feel like even if u study so hard also nv come out what u study n really feel like jus giving up.. plus my nervousness streak is another letdown! Hope e tutors are kind=((

There's like so many things I keep wanting to do but when freedom comes, I can't recall all the many many things I want to do! Anw I had a haircut recently at Wars! The best part abt the haircut was not the haircut! It was e SUPER SHIOK massage the shampoo person did for me! He even massaged neck! I tot I'll b super ticklish as usual but wha the skills were gd! Could feel all the past yr's tensed and stressed up shoulders and neck unlocking! Although the haircut turned out steep, it was really quite worth it=) Although Dan kept harping tht I spent e same amt for 12 KFC chicken pieces and 6 med sized sides and 4 pineapple tarts=P HAHA i tink cuz I requested for the hairdresser who's possibly the owner too=P HAHA anw the pom pom hair powder the guy put on my hair to make it less flat was not bad but din stay for long like possibly 2 hrs n it flattened down again=(

While waiting for Dan to finish work, I say Joanne Peh! Glammed up w her angmoh partner~ Only I was starstruck=( All the girls in Pooh and Bear were China girls=((

Next up wld be KOREA! WooHoo! But I jus realised the temperature is gonna be freezing!! SIGH! I tot it's supposed to be spring! boooo cant wear my dresses!! PLUS no winter wear!! boo boo gotta go buy or borrow or beg!

1. SKII contains FUNGAL extract??!! haha this lecturer told us today.. and we weird women are spendin loads n loads of cash to buy fungus... haha so hilarious.. it made me tink twice on buying it when I work in the future...

2. Commercial hair growing companies (like Yunnan, etc) are NOT advised by docs in National Skin Centre...
Haha cuz what most of the consumers have are stuff that either spontaneously grow back or cant really be helped with all those funny herbal tx.. Not evidence based medicine! On the contrary the docs say loads of these consumers end up spendin a bomb there and it still din work or got worst, den decided to go to skin centre (cuz cheaper) to seek opinion... tsk tsk

3. Loads of sunblk and umbrellas are needed for less aged spots in the future!!
(everyone noes this but comin frm a specialist is so different!!!)

4. Pulsed light therapy and laser are overused.. haha dun need to use it till u really need!

Uber fun!

Wee! Bladin is uber fun once you get the hang of it! Finally learned how to blade properly although I still look clumsy with those weird hand movements! It's super shiok being able to glide! Would have bladed longer if not for the blisters forming again! East coast park is super empty today! Never seen it this EMPTY before! Had the whole pathway to ourselves to blade!!

Read the novel a couple of mths back and it's gotta be the best romance novel I've read ever!

MUSSSSSSST WATCH!!!!!! Seeing the preview already made me feel touched cuz I know the story!!! The characters in the show are exactly what I've imagined them to be when I was reading the book! Thanks to Julie, an exchange student who gave me this book, otherwise I would never have read this lovely story!

Met a hideous faker today.. He's a LOSER! He's just too much. When only the junior is around, he will bully me incesantly and make me do disgusting stuff nobody want to do and justify them. Den when the superiors come, he'll pretend to be freaking nice to me?! He's sucha LOW GRADE LOUSY TERMITE.. Wanted to call him PIG but even pigs are innocent and cute... As though I did anything wrong to him, like murder his family or smt....
ARGH! Just have to tolerate 3 more wks.... Really wanna cry today cuz I alr worked so long the whole night such tht I din zzz, despite not getting paid and yet this kind of ppl come and make my life so miserable...... Initially I tried to tell myself he's jus tryin to teach me in his own way but cum'on enough is enough. Cant believe this kind of freak exist...... GET OFF MY BACK AND PICK SOMEONE YR OWN AGE LA.

Day 4~

Day 4 was Ocean park finally.. woke up super early to catch the bus there!

steep escalators! Dan said they were once the world's steepest escalators!

Seals/sealions! I cant really tell the diff!

luminous jellyfishes! The light changes color so they appear colorful and luminous!

The view! Had to climb a lot there! Super tiring for someone like me with no stamina and I'm scared of heights~!

On the ferris wheel feeling sticky cuz it was really humid after the rain.. facing the direction away from the sea cuz it's super scary to face that way!

The Ocean theatre show! The animals r really good!

At the panda house! Twas really cold inside! Shiok!

Dinner with Kwan Yu and her bf at some Shanghai cafe! All the places we wanted to go to eat closed down for some reason... This is the rice with lots of veg n dunno what..

Wanton noodles! Wonton r fat n crunchy! Different from Singapore's ones!

Super yummy honey like chicken wings, spareribs and red bean pancake! The wings were the best cuz super well marinated n tender! Nv tasted such good wings before!

After dinner we went to Tang Chao restaurant for desserts! There was a super long queue and just when we wanted to leave, we got a seat despite waiting for like 1 min only?! Super unfair to those ppl who waited longer than us! Quite weird! But the desserts were not bad! Got 2 free desserts!
