Beltrix + another Year 3 class was running at the same time, and the top 4 were from our class! Woots!
Congratulations to Isabel for breaking her record. Pass leh! (:
ACC lesson was slack. Continued to be a little moody, but not as much as the pass few days. Mood swings ____. I was reading Kill The Mockingbird and talking about Singapore and China's education. Tingyu's vocabulary is so much stronger. She thought me a new word: ostracised. (E.g. In Maycomb, those who weren't of the norm are ostracised). And a few others.
Art Club was okay. I do glass art SO slow. We are making glass jewellery now. In the process of cutting glass, I inflicted 2 wounds :( Zhang Rui's plaster is super cute! Mini black cats with red heart shapes. =3

I spent like 2 hours eeks ):

MOODLE DISCUSSION(Y)
Moodle crashed again T_T I'd prefer AsknLearn.
Let's see the advantages & disadvantages of Moodle (I may miss out some. Thought it on the spot, so don't expect much)
MOODLE:
Able to communicate with friends directly
Edit your profile page/display picture
Able to blog
Forum topics and homework uploaded are categorised according to subject
All categories are displayed on ONE main page. Easier access.
Server cannot handle that much amount of traffic. Crash often.
Powerpoints take quite some time to load. For some, there are even problems downloading. (in my case, I can't download a single powerpoint. Even when I tried all 3 computers)
The colour theme is ... well, plain?
Problems may occur. Passwords were reset to default (IC) once.
And AsknLearn hasn't those fancy stuff mentiond in advatages, but doing without those will not be a problem. Are those pratical? It has all practical functions required, is more atractive in colour scheme, enables faster downloads of powerpoints, and never did it crash. All these basic stuff is why we need an online portal for schoolwork. Plus, it never crashed.
However, I must go with circumstances and accept the fact that DHS has now switched to Moodle. Permanently (unless a new web is found...). Anyway, problems are inevitable.
I'll LOVE Moodle. But, crashes arent lovely. (LOL)

Haha I meant to blog a long post today but all the stuff went into my long mail to yueqi. XD And I don't have time to blog that much now. She said that people in Canada are CRAZY over Twilight too :o There are 120+ people on waiting list to get that book. Anyway, 3 stuff to describe today:
1) HISTORY TEST WAS OKAY To Yibei -in silence-, "Eh, history test, you wrote how long leh?" I just want to know. Have no other intention. I'm not the boys XD If people asked her that question she will explode. Literally. 2) THE SAF ACAPELLA GROUP ARE REALLY TALENTED We were their most enthu audience. The first one to shout "On call") And Samuel was from CSS1 :O No wonder... 3) I AM TOTALLY NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THE UPCOMING HCL TEST. My moral has been on a low ):

Today was okay :D My glass piece turned out horrible >.> Need to add more stuff. Usually, it would be vice versa though If you understand this, clever girl :D or boy.
-rewinds to recess- I ate with XiaoJun XIAOJUN 请我吃饭！ She said it's the first time she treated someone a meal. I asked her, how it's like to be doing this the first time. She said "...nothing" LOL We moved over the Zhang Rui's seat. And XJ & ME said some sensitive stuff :P
History was hilarious. Mrs Wong says, "My hair is turning white because of you -" Beltrix burst out SINGING A CHORUS, 'Because of you... I never stray too far from the sidewalk Because of you... I learned to play on the safe side So I don't get hurt Because of you I find it hard to trust Not only me, but everyone around me Because of you I am afraid..." -everyone starts laughing- Mrs Wong mentioned the same thing elsewhere "My hair is turning white..." The reply: "At least you have HAIR to turn white" !!!!!!!!!!
And isabel was trying to take a pic of me & Yibei today It was meant to be the classic pose of 2 faces together However, it wasn't quite so...
Result: Me, sitting right on the EDGE of my seat at the far RIGHT of the pic Yibei, at the far LEFT of the pic, pointing her "gun" at me. lol.

Today, we were having a practise on writing formal gong han (letter). I wrote about dengue. However, the session was not that formal. You'll see...
Lin Lao Shi (totally engrossed in Lawyer's composition), "Quiet everyone! I'm reading a novel here!" -after a few seconds- Lin Lao Shi, "Let me tell you something. After years of teaching experiences, I have concluded that when love stories are written, it usually wouldn't be the girls who wrote them..." -the class IMMEDIATELY went- "'BET IT'S WEI JIE!!! WEI JIE, YOU WROTE ABOUT YOUR SARAH RIGHT?!" The RGS girl he dedicated a poem to. We saw her photos! :D Timothy (immitating WeiJie), "我喜欢一位女孩，名叫沙拉，很好吃……" 沙拉 is a direct translation of Sarah. -CLASS STARTED ROARING WITH LAUGHTER-
As Timothy was having a GREAT time teasing WeiJie: Raey, (really loudly), "Eh, Timothy, I know who's your girlfriend leh" Timothy, (coincidentally returning Sha her ruler) "Eh, SHANISCA." OMFG THAT WAS SUPER HILARIOUS! XD Direct confession leh!!! Timothy, "Just returning her ruler lah! =.=" -BELTRIX STARTED LAUGHING LIKE SIAO- Raey, "Timothy, if it's nothing, why are you blushing?" Timothy, "因为我很气，气到没有气！"
And that was one of the most fun & hilarious time Beltrix had this year.

We made up a team called slacker's club. Student councillors (Prefects) stands for SC However, SC stands for Slacker's Club (in our perspective).
Rules to join: Rule #1: Must be so highly skilled at slacking till others do not know. Rule #2: Yeah, slack, but must get a GPA of 3 and above.
Rule #3: Hasn't handed in homework at least 1 time They don't allow me to enter the club. According to them, I don't slack =.= HEY I do! =/ Just ask my seating partner, Xin Yi. I am. I'm not qualified eh? Asking me to join the hardworking club instead. ._.
And as usual, these are just silly jokes xD
Yibei and XiaoJun was talking about it non -stop on the MRT yesterday. One’s the president. Another’s the vice president. Today’s ride on the MRT was different though. We were talking about weird stuff like how someone died with a life leech living inside his body organs, how a plant grew out of someone’s eye (he didn’t knew it at first), how someone went for an operation due to a lizard’s tail that got inside his ear. In another case, it was an ant. We did a mini advertisement for LSP today. Advertising MILK! We were thinking about making a slogan about milk when we thought up of 2 things. One was totally SICK. Another was vulgar. "Your grandmother's milk. Best milk for you." "Your mother's milk. The best milk in ever" Say that in CHINESE and it'll turn into something else XD
YueQi (the one in Canada) will be participating in an event to break the World Guinness record of most bands playing at the same time. It’s an attempt. At Calgary Round up Centre. Break the World record? You must be proud to be participating in it :o
