Stroller Excitement!!

My mom bought me a double stroller and I love it!! We only were able to go out for a few minutes because it was so windy, but I can tell it will be great. I am excited that I can run with it or just go for a stroll! Ella was loving being next to her brother! Hopefully the snow comes and goes tomorrow and then Spring really does stick around! Who knew I moved to antartica!!

The Big Sis!!

My best friend Stacey sent us a package with a little crown for Ella that said "Big Sis". She loved it and wouldn't take it off all day. It's fun to be a big sis! I thought I would share her pictures! She is a very good helper, but hasn't been sure how much she likes sharing her attention with a little brother. She'll get used to it and things will be great!

A Family Affair!!

We have been very blessed to have had our families around these past few weeks. I wanted to thank them for their time and for their help. We enjoyed sharing our new son with them and have them here when he entered the world. We are very lucky to have wonderful parents on both sides and great Aunts to help us out. Here are a few pictures of our time with our family.

One Week Old!

Well, Cavin is now one week old and things are going great. He is a good baby and we are having fun. Ella is loving him, but not sure how she feels about not being the only one. She is hitting the fun terrible twos and I am not too excited. Things are settling down a little and I have been so glad to have my mom here to help. We have also had Ragnar's family here to check out our little munchkin and that is fun. I am also way excited to see my sister Marisa in a couple days. We are lucky to have family here.

Cavin Ragnar Hartzheim

He made it!!! Cavin Ragnar Hartzheim was born on April 12th at 1:26 a.m. My contractions started and were regular, so we went to the hospital Friday night and he came within a few hours. We were lucky the labor was fast and smooth. He is a healthy blue eyed baby! We are excited our family has expanded and that he has entered our lives!

Still hangin in there!!

Another day has come and gone and no baby yet. It seems silly to be this impatient when I am still 11 days away from my due date. I just wish my Dr. wouldn't have said I wouldn't make it through the weekend. My mental status has been tailored to that idea. I went again to the Dr. again today and I am now almost a 5 cm. and no baby yet. It feels so weird. I can't imagine my body will go that much longer without going into full labor, but babies are sure unpredictable!

Anyway, after the depressing Dr. appointment Ragnar and I decided to go with our neighbors bowling. Hey if I'm not trying to keep him in anymore because of insurance, then we might as well have a fun day! So, we had fun bowling, even though I could only bend half way down and then Ella finished my rounds! We will keep you posted if anything new happens!

Almost There!

So, I went to the Dr. on Tuesday and I was already dilated to a 4 cm and mostly effaced. She thought I wouldn't make it through the weekend without having the baby. It's Saturday afternoon and we are praying we can make it until at least Monday. We decided to add Allstate and Aflac to our insurance policy before we got pregnant, but if we have the baby before Monday the 7th then they can reject our claim even though I am not due until the 19th!! It makes us a little nervous, but there are some friends that we have that said there are ways around that because my due date was after the 10 month waiting period. I guess we hope we don't have to find out! I am excited to see our little guy, but come on, wouldn't you rather enjoy conference from up above?? We'll see what he decides! I'm getting nervous!
