we met up, FINALLY :)

so we met up today - 29th of december 2o06, me, weijie and shinyee,my primary school friend. there was supposed to be jeremy but he couldn't make it in the end so we just had to go without him since school was starting soon and there's no way we can postpone it furthur.

we met up at lik 2pm in the afternoon and it was really great to see shinyee and weijie since we have not met up lik god knows how long. we made our way down to orchard, far east plaza and shop around. well, i would say i was the one shopping and they were window-shopping. bought lik 4 pairs of earring, a grey cardigan and a tee-shirt. i had no intention of buying those earring at first but i thought tht they were cute so i bought them to add to my collection. there was this fairy earring which i thought was very nice and so i bought it. they said i was wasting money but nontheless i had no regret buying it since i liked it and it would be a regret if i didnt buy it.

we shopped for lik an hour and shinyee was complaining tht she was hungry so we bought this grilled terriyaki chicken which was kind of salty. but it wasnt really filling so we went for our dinner at "Ramen Ten". it was really funny when we made our entrance because i told them that the waiter and waitress will like greet us wth their japanese sort of greeting. they didnt quite believe me at first so when we walked in and everyone was shouting their greeting, they kind of found it shocking and funny:) but it rather embrassing cuz it called for unwanted attention with typical singaporean starring at us.

we got tired of far east and so we headed to wisma atria. but we didnt get anything there cuz it was either too costly or we dont like it. GAP for example had this really lovely caridigan but it costed like $345. i dont know why its so expensive but i certainly got a shock when i saw the number. the cardigan is really very ordinary and i expected it to be lik $100++ or lesser. But nvm. we went over to hereen at around 7 going on 8. but there was nth much that interest us so we made our way home at around 9pm.

CHRISTMAS AND ALL :D

24th December 2006

i was initially slacking at home with my drama before i make my way down to orchard at around 8pm with binz and alastair. we reached at around 9pm before we headed to Suki Ramen for dinner. when we went out on the street again,the crowd was almost killing us and almost everyone had a foam spray with them. we were not sparred from the sparying but we knew how to avoid it so we did not had it as bad as the rest. we seek shelter outside TANGS while we watched the crazy people play around and it seriously is crazy. the countdown thing was kind of cool but i couldnt stand the spraying thing anymore so we make our way home soon after tht.

i thought foam apray was banned but everyone was spraying lik crazy even wth the presence of the police, of course we not sparred but we did not have it as worse as them

it was freaking crowded the moment we were out from somerset MRT station. To me it was the worst crowd i've been to and i pratically PUSHED my way out at around paragon because the crowd was not moving.

25th December 2006

this christmas was kind of boring though but i met up with my cousin, fiona at my granny's place together with my brother. we watched a video of my younger cousin trip to japan(lucky fellow)before i tried to put some games into his PSP. it was freaking dumb la, i was looking at the computer and refering to the manual book at the same time thinking tht i will be able to fix it. But well well, i did not suceed.

26th December 2006

it was actually meant for slacking at home with my beloved TV and it was quite successful until amber rang me up at lik 6pm and asked me to pack up because we are having something like a mini-sleepover at andrea's place. those two bitches planned everything without telling me and andrea who was supposed to inform me did not do so until amber called at 6pm to ask me to go over and meet them. so i packed and make my way to andrea's stylist place cuz she was doing her hair there.

we finally went over to andrea's place at lik 10pm and we were filling lina in with our KL's details while amber showered. we started the night wth the focker and we stopped at disc 1 to watch our korean drama "tree of heaven". another cute guy :) we only went to bed at lik 5am and we woke up at 12am in the morning on the 27th.

GIFTS, GIFTS AND MORE GIFTS

hello all, it's the season of giving again. tmr will be christmas's eve and amber just dropped a bombshell on me saying tht she and armanda might not be able to make it tmr. oh, come on. please dont do this!!!!
i got all the gifts ready and please make yourself available. i just went christmas shopping for my family members wth binz just now. i didnt have any intention of leaving the hse actually because i was watching my korean drama "love in the sun",starring KWON SANG WOO :) he is really HOT and i think it an understatement to say tht he is just HOT. well, i cant think of another yet apt and strong word.
i wonder why its so hard to get gifts for family but its's easy to do so for friends, well at least for me. i got mum a perfume from "the body shop", a towel set for bro(which i had no idea if he will lik it) frm "AUSSINO" and a scented music bag for dad. it might sound funny but it is just scented bag which reads"I LOVE YOU, DAD" and it plays music lik a music box.
i just wrapped up andrea's gift just now and i wonder she will lik it. woo ho ho, i loves getting gift for friends and family at this point of time but i hate wrapping it up. i wonder why amber loves wrapping so much, she spends all her money on wrappers, boxes, and coloured paper for making cards. i feel the pinch for her sometimes.
btw, me, amber, armanda and binz went for sakae yesterday. i dont think the food there is not as nice as what i had expected, the service is also just pass-able. the waitress tht served us was a lil unfriendly and she has this flat tone tht goes around telling ppl "she hates her job" and what makes it worst is tht she does not carry a smile. Erm, hello you are in the service sector.

nontheless, we enjoyed ourselves in the restaurant by cam-whoring around. the funniest part was ordering from the menu. i made the order and there are lik four hungry ghost so guess i kind of ordered food tht is enough for us. but i was told tht the waitress looked shock and i swear tht the portion was reasonable, it's sushi btw. weird ppl in the restaurant. they even had a puffer-fish look alike as the manager!!!! :p
alright so i dont think i will be visiting tht restaurant again and if i am, mayb for the a-la carte and not the buffet.

Finally the KL trip

i finally got all the pictures with courtesy from amber and andrea but only some are posted as there are way too much. we got to KL on a train(with bunk) and its terribly small though. i couldnt sleep too as the train was too jerky and too noisy. but surprisingly i did not feel lethargic when i finally arrived in KL. mayb i was excited and glad tht i finally reach.. yeappie

andrea's family got to check in their apartment first and we check in ours abit ltr.(im sharing a room with amber). our suite was rather bigg with a lil kitchen and a living room..

after we got settled down, me, haiqel, farouk and their mom made our way down to this night market while amber slept her ass off and andrea watched her niece swim. we took the monorail and when i first saw it, i really got the shock of my life. its so small and the the traffic flow at the platform was so bad tht there were officer(wth their pathetic whistle) controlling it. the cool part abt the night market was the bargaining, i did not dare to bargain so farouk was there to help me and i did get a few great deals.
after we went back to the hotel to put our stuff, me and andrea went for our manicure which took lik 2 hrs.. when we were done it was lik near to the closing hr of the mall so we went to cold storage to get some instant noodles and drinks. we went to get the baskin robbins choco ice-cream cake which basically taste lik heaven.. yum yum, the choco taste still linger arnd when i think of it... we watch benchwarmer with andrea's dvd player and its so funny:) the partying endds around 1++ and we all went back to bed.

we went to the amusement park the next day and i swear not to take ride tht gones 360 degrees.. i was so brave and i went for this DNA mixer ride which stinks cuz i almost vomitted and i was screamming lik anyhing.. okay, not just me, andrea was screaming her lungs out too and i cant believe i went for the ride. after tht we went to sungei wang or smth if i didnt spell wrongly. its lik malaysia version of far-east and we went mad shopping there. were back in the hotel rather early however andrea, haikel and farouk was locked out of their rm and so they had to seek shelter frm us.. we had a few round of game of "lie" which haikel introduced and there was some gossiping abt haikel's "beloved" before amber, me and farouk headed down to the mall once again.. as we were living in berjaya times square hotel, we just have to take a lift down and we are at the mall.. cool huh !!! i was rather pissed off wth the staff at metrojaya as they are so inefficient. the item was supposed to be on discount but the staff said no and insist tht they have checked it out.. so i went to check again then me and farooq were demanding for a refund... so fun:)tht night we went to the arcade and we were all so addicted to daytona tht we played til their cloing hr. cold storage was closed so haikel treated us all to popcorn before we proceed to watch "fragile". it was so scary and the face of tht ghost is so disgusting tht i ended up grabbing andrea's hand and farouk's toes.. haha we continued with a few episodes of friends before we all hit the sack

we started the next day with this breakfast buffet before we went down to KLCC which is lik malaysia version of paragon. of course its much bigger wth more labels whch you cant find in singapore. we went down to "vincci" to do some shoe-shopping.we pratically ransacked the whole store and of course all of us left tht place feeling satisfied with all our shoes. amber has also gotten herself her pair of heels FINALLY:) she did some more shopping before we had our lunch at "Madam Kwan". all of us ordered the famous nasi lemak which indeed lived up to its name. we got back to the hotel and had some cam-whoring moments before amber started to do her gift-wrapping. thank god andrea, haikel and farouk came visiting otherwise i'll be bored-stiff. we did not linger in the rm for long cuz andrea me and farouk went down to FOS to check out their stuff. again we stated to ransack the store and andrea got this ed hardy top while i got lik 3 top which cost lik only RM90. how great :) we went to the arcade again and we tried out alot of games before we wondered around the mall with all the shop closed and we had to climb up the escalator which stopped as well. kidda of fun but the packing ltr was bad because we had to little space and too much stuff. andrea and her cousin came over but she was basically of no help cuz she slept the moment she arrived.

it was breakfast again the next morning before we watched andrea's cousin swim.she is so cute and so friendly wth the other two kids whcih kind of ignore her. tssk we had our lunch at the chicken rice shop and we paid lik RM 90 for so many food - steamed chicken,bbq chicken, bean sprouts, tofu, vegetables, fritters, stuffed fishballs and the rice. we were lik arguing and telling each other to finish the food before andrea reminded us of the desserts.thank god the dessert was pathetic. we made another trip to the arcade befor we left for KL Sentral which is where we take our train. we were back in singapore at around 7am and i was so tired tht i slept in the train.

P.S great thanks to andrea's mum tht we were able to embark on this marvellous trip wth them.

im glad to proclaim tht im a really fillial person or mayb a family person after today. i actually spent my entire day wth my family. Serious, it might sound ridiculous but i have not done it for a reallllyyy loooonnnggg time.
i went to visit my gran in the hospital today and guess what, i actually walked into the WRONG ward and i look freaking stupid when i walked out again wth everyone looking at me... i wonder when i can stop being a scatterbrain:(
gran looks much better to me today but she still cant be discharged and i seriously hope she will be home by christmas otherwise i dont think ther will be any celebration this year.
i nv knew tht doc could look so smart when they walk around wth their white coat. when i enter the hospital, this grp of suave doc walk past me with their medical shit in their mouth and they seriously look hot even though they carry a tinge of nerdiness:) its makes me felt more determined to be a gynae. it has been my childhood aspiration(pls dont laugh) and i really hope i could be walking around the hospital wearing tht white coat:)

nvm back to reality, after th visit i went to my dad shop and i ordered this plate of 'chee cheong fun' for lunch. its really yummmyyy. show you guys the pictures ltr. my dad was working on his hot-dog bun when i arrived and seriously, it really look cute when its not baked yet. stayed in the shop for the rest of the day and cam-whore around when there are lesser customers.

KWON SANG WOO KILLS MY BOREDOM

today was a bloodly boring day. i quit my job and so i decided to sleep in to make up for all the sleep which i lost during this period.
i woke up at lik 2pm and i was lazing around at home.it has been raining lik all day long and it's such a good weather to sleep in. i finally managed to watch "almost love", i got this show lik 3 mths ago and i finally got the time to watch it today. kwon sang woo was the main lead of this show but he lost one of his leg half-way thru the show and i was kind of mad wth the script-writer but the ending was good so im kind of glad:)

when i finished the show it was around 5pm so i came online and chat wth haikel and continue writing my kl post. its not ready to be published yet as the pictures are still not in.

it was raining non-stop today so there was no way i could leave my hse to get dinner. hunger got the better of me and i decided to make do wth a cup of noodles. it was pathetic though as the noodles taste horrible :(

hey hoo, im back. i wanted to blog abt the KL trip but most of the pictures were with amber so i guess i'll have to fill you guys up a while ltr.

i had a few hr of slp after im back before i receive a call saying tht gran was in the hospital. so i had to rush down to the hospital before meeting up with dess, binz and manda... a few of my other relatives were there when i reach and shortly my gran was wheeled away for this check-up.. unsure of how to make my exit,i stayed for a while more befor i left to meet them in orchard...

we had our christmas shopping and it was sale everywhere... i finally got all the gift and thus i started to cam-whore arnd..we went to new urban male and i tried on this unisex jersey which i loved it alot... it reads "all i wan for christmas is two boyfriends" also the cutting is good :) what more the sale guys are HOT !!!!
