Twilight

Man oh Man Friday night Mike took me to the movie!! I have never been so excited to see a movie before in my life~!! It was soooo much fun!! And believe it or not Mike liked it tooo!! :) I loved how romantic and exciting it was!! I think those who hadn't read the books would have had a harder time seeing it!! But I read the first one to Mike and he was bugged at first but was glad I had when he was watching the movie!! I can not wait to go again!! This time I am going to go with friends and I just can't wait to see it !! It was so much like what I pictured with a few exceptions!! We got to the theater like 45 mins early and had our tickets a week in advance and we still weren't early enough!! The crowds were terrible but it also made it even more exciting!! Oh sooo much fun!! Saturday night we went to the Bar J Wranglers here in Grantsville with Chelle and Brett. It was fun also!! NOt the same feeling as you get in Jackson watching them in the mountains but it was still good!! Mike and I have been getting a lot of dating in lately and that has been fun!! Nothing like a night without the kids!!

My little Smiley guy!

I love taking pictures of my boys!! BUT this one is especially fun! He loves his picture to be taken!! I don't know what I would do if he didn't because he is sooo much fun!! This is one of the MANY that I took of him and it was so cute, he was posing and everything I didn't have to tell him to sit a certain way or smile, he did it all. That must be an indication that his picture is being taken way tooo much!! :) He truly is a joy!!

My New Walls

I love my new walls!! It was fun to do and I think it really helped our BIG wall to look a lot better! Now I am working on putting some pictures up on it!! Can't wait to get this finished!! Let me know what you think! SOOOO easy also!! Thanks to Megan for her help. I know it probably doesn't look anything like hers because she took off and I left on. I had a hard time doing it the way she told me to, so I just started and this is the finished product.

The sacredness of Marriage

Here lately there has been so much talk about prop8 and all the craziness saddens me!! I believe so strongly about how we were created and what our individual roles are as man and woman. I don't understand the hatred that is happening in America today!! The Lord loves us even if we are sinners yet He has also required consequences for our choices. We need to draw nearer to the Lord and follow the teachings of our Savior and love those who do not understand or who are lost. I saw this video and it gave me goose bumps!! I felt the spirit so strongly I decided to share it with you!! I hope you can now have the same experience I did while watching it!!

"You Did It"

This boy keeps me on my toes ALL the time! So this weekend we painted our living room. It was with a gloss and it was a dark brown color and I was wiping in on and Bryson came over to me and said " OOWW POOP. " I just started to laugh and told him "No, that I was painting the wall." He then started to say " YOU did it mom, you did it " over and over again. I couldn't even finish, I was laughing too hard. Then a friend came over while we were working on it to see what it looked like and he proceeded to tell her the same thing. Only until it was all done did he believe me and then I still wonder if he thinks it is poop! :) He is such a tease that I sometimes don't know how to take him!! Last night we went to the temple and I asked him if he missed me ( He ALWAYS says Yes Mom.) Well he said "no" this time, as he was laughing. I was heartbroken. :{ I started tickling him utnil he told me that he missed me. He is a ton of fun yet can be such a stinker all at the same time! There is never a dull moment with him around!

Why do I have to brush my teeth

Ok so over the last couple of weeks my kids have definitely ate more candy than normal! Last night I was talking to Austin about how candy is not good for us and our teeth and that he needed to go and brush. He then proceeded with the why questions and I then asked him "so do you want to see what happens when you don't brush your teeth?" And of course he said yes, Austin is always up for a challenge, even simple ones. So I typed in Rotten teeth in google and I then went to a video of rotten teeth on YouTube. It was so disgusting and he went running to the bathroom half way through the video to brush his teeth. :) He came back out and told me he was never eating candy again. I sent him to bed and he asked me to sing I am a child of God to him. I thought to myself "I must have scared him." I had no idea how bad!! He then got up twice in the night asking me if his teeth were going to fall out and if they were all there. I sang to him again and told him that we keep our teeth if we take care of them. I promised him if he brushed his teeth his teeth they would always be there and healthy. It really affected him because even this morning he didn't want to eat breakfast. And as soon as I talked him into eating he was in the bathroom brushing those teeth. :) I have been worried about how he is handling it and have wondered if I have done the right thing or not. The answer I have come to is that he will now be more cautious about eating whatever and brushing those teeth. Which is a good thing and honesty is always better than the alternative. Now I just have to work on the positive side of things. Like how pretty our teeth can be if we take care of them. So today I am going to show him pictures of pretty teeth. I honestly think I am going to handle all things like this because you can always work through the fear with truth. I have really been contemplating how to handle them growing up and all the choices placed before them and I think too often we flower things up too much and they don't ever see the reality of things until they are faced with the choice. So this was an answer I got after much thinking about how I am going to handle these three boys and raise them to stay strong in the gospel and to recognize what is true. This world is so full of evil and crazy things going on around us all the time that I worry about them constantly! So I don't think I have to scare them but I do believe I have to be honest with them and then tell them the blessings that come from choosing right. What a blessing to have the gospel it brings so much joy and peace in the world we live in and the battle we strive to fight every day with Satan!!! I don't know how I would go through this life without it!! We also went on a bike ride today together while dad slept from the night shift. This same wonderful boy began to tell me how Jesus had given him so much. He was naming EVERYTHING!! I looked over at him as we were peddling and I thought I am so blessed to have these three boys who are always teaching me something and who are so close to the Lord. I wish they could always stay this innocent

Another Halloween Tradition Fulfilled

Well once again we had our famous Halloween Party! I must say the Witches brew gets better
and better every year!! The boys were all so cute in their skeleton outfits! :0 Austin informed me this year that witches are scared of skeletons! :)
That was so funny!! He tried all day to scare me and I just tried to act scared. It was a lot of fun listening to scary music and stories all day. I love the age that they are at, everything is so exciting and fun! We took them trick or treating and that seemed to be just what Bryson was meant to do!! He would run to each of the houses and couldn't wait to say trick or treat or mostly just yell the word TREAT! :) He would say "thank you" and run to the next door. It took him only two doors to figure out what you do and that when you do that you get CANDY!! :) He was so cute and had so much fun! We then came home and got ready for bed to go to Idaho the next day. We didn't end up going because Tucker got sick so we stayed home and relaxed. We missed seeing family!
